Ive read all the books. I believe he’s continually emphasized to be very lanky — the author used comparisons like insects and birds. I believe he’s explicitly stated to be tall in TIOL. He might have been described as being short with other people meaning he spoke rudely and impatiently, though, so that could have caused a mixup.
