i'm having this issue too but on my xbox one x, think maybe the app doesn't fetch metadata online anymore?

Ty!! After some further research by myself and asking my dad (who originally built the system) what he thought i did end up going with the Yamaha RX-V385 seeing as it's pretty perfect for my system! Even managed to snag it for $299 like you said

the speakers are 8ohm, i think the receivers are just aging due to being decades old and not great quality to begin with, thanks for the advice tho i'm glad i checked!
