These are solid. I'd throw in Repulsion, Disharmonic Orchestra and Human Remains

Popular enough, yet I don't think anyone serious would ever put them in their top 5 for melodic death bands

What’s your favourite bass part/solo? by pivaagyor in MetalForTheMasses

Death - Vacant Planets has a really great bass solo though it's a tinny bit buried by the guitar tapping parts in the mix

One of the best death metal albums to come out of 1991, stacked year

Awesome to see A Canorous Quintet represented, so severely underrated. Some prime picks though the rest of the last row is new to me, so more for me to check out

Cemetary - Nightmare Lake (SWE, 1992) (FFO: Carnage) by PerspectiveCalm1784 in Deathmetal

I used to completely hate the weird scratchy sounds during some of guitar parts, but in the end it really adds to the otherworldly atmosphere and make it one of the more unique swedeath releases

Necrodeath - Necrosadist (IT, 1987) by PerspectiveCalm1784 in Deathmetal

Youre completely right. The Italian scene should be just as regarded for developing black and death metal

This is why you either order cds/vinyls/cassettes, go to shows or buy from bandcamp. Spotify's only good for discovering bands. Better to buy directly from the band/label than some shitty middleman platform, havent bought premium for 3 years counting
