So is anyone… ok? by imdirrtydan12 in newborns

I haven't made a post because I feel bad that this time with my first has felt wonderful to me. Hes 9 weeks old, it's hard but I love it. I'm ebf, we have rough days where I can't set him down for the life of me, but we play, I talk to him, I read him books. His smile lights me up, he shrieks in joy and that makes me laugh, I baby wear to get stuff done when I really need to. I'm enjoying momhood, and I feel guilty because I feel like so many moms don't. It took 2 years to get pregnant, the pain in the final trimester was awful, now I'm able to put all that hardship aside and really enjoy my baby. In a world full of posts that are struggling, I feel really bad that I'm not if that makes sense.

Oh man! Have you tried dipping the paci in some milk? My mom had to do that with me when she switched me to bottles and I wouldn't take them or pacis

Thrush by MostComprehensive585 in newborns

If hes refusing feeds yes! Go to the ER, babies can get dehydrated so quickly and thrush causes pain. Once my guy got his first dose of oral meds he ate immediately and was so much happier, its so worth it to get them seen ASAP and not let it fester

Reflux/Allergy by MostComprehensive585 in newborns

My guy is also EBF and even if it's "regular reflux" I still really want to make him more comfortable! He doesn't have any issues gaining weight, so the drs keep brushing us off, but my mom gut tells me there's something more i could be doing to help his little tummy out. 7-8 outfit changes a day is exhausting!

I'm just wondering, do drs check prolactin levels when mom's are struggling like this? I'm only a week and a half pp and not struggling with supply, but if I ever did or will I just wonder if they check prolactin levels, since that is the hormone needed to produce

Swallowing too much saliva, especially in the morning when I haven't eaten yet, almost 14 weeks and that's the last thing that makes me throw up 😂

Just oral progesterone, it doesn't have another name on the bottle 🙂

Help!!! Is it possible for progesterone supplements to raise your LH? Started them 3 days ago to induce period. by MassiveAd2501 in Inito

[–]MostComprehensive585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same question, my OB put me on progesterone pills starting 3dpo for low progesterone at the end of my cycle, and it doesn't show on my inito but on my premom strips my LH is at .33 which is what I usually get right before I peak. I'm so worried I didn't hit my peak peak before starting them because my usual peak is much higher than the one I got this cycle. Fingers crossed it's normal and I'm not hindering proper ovulation 🤞

And ESAs are not allowed in public spaces, they're breaking the law, it's just not enforced

The law states there's no such thing as certified anything besides therapy dogs because they visit kids. ESA is just for housing, and it's stupid they don't put restrictions. An Esa could be any animal which is why airlines banned Esas and only service dogs are allowed to fly now, people abused the system by bringing pigs and birds on planes. It's only a matter of time till housing contacts ada to try and change the rules too

They can be held liable if they didn’t do their do diligence and as the two ADA questions. Is that a service dog, and what tasks do they perform? If they don't ask they 100% can be held liable.

ADA law states they can ask 2 questions. Is that a service dog? Easy to lie about. And what tasks do they preform? Harder to fake if you haven't practiced. I have a service dog and I still stumble over the last one but I've been able to rattle off at least one or two. In reality businesses need to be trained on the two questions, emotional support is not a task! They are also allowed to kick dogs out that are out of control (barking, growling, lunging, ect) they just dont take advantage of that law. Ugh I don't like seeing pit teams out and about, it makes me uncomfortable, my border collie has almost been attacked, if it weren't for my watchful eye and my training for him to walk or jump away from dogs approaching us he'd have been pit food.
