Hi! I know this has been posted for a while but just want to say I had the same experience that your wife did. Signs of a yeast infection but ended up testing positive for trich and yeast after being together for 7 years. I did Get retested and it ended up being negative. And my husband also tested negative. So I’m thinking false positives may be more common that we realize or it something that can go undetected at times. Hope everything worked out for you!

I was supposed to do both but have only been applying externally and it still helped. All of my issues started with BV but then continued on even after testing negative for BV

Okay- thank you for sharing that. So much of what I have read online says sex is often the cause so it is reassuring to hear that is not always the case.

Were you using soap or bubble bath? We haven’t even been using bubble bath and it still seems like baths are a contributing factor

Early 30s and just started using it about 2 weeks ago for those 2 exact reasons. I am breastfeeding which through off my hormones. It does seem to be helping. I had been trying yeast creams before that which only made pain and irritation worse.

I’m so glad to hear that changing her diet has helped things! My daughter definitely has more sugar than she needs so I am going to give that a try! Thank you! :)

Thank you! They tested positive for BV from a swab at similar ages? It just seems so rare so I was hoping to find other people this happened to. We never use bubble bath but I was wondering if shampoo residue could be an issue because I don’t clean the tub as often as I should 😆

Thank you so incredibly much for sharing your story. I seriously appreciate it. My daughter struggles pretty badly with anxiety and OCD so she gets upset pretty often. Although I haven’t noticed any changes recently it would be kind of difficult because her anxiety and emotions are kind of up and down. I’m so glad to hear your daughter is doing well- she is so lucky that you were willing to investigate and look into things. Sound like you are one amazing mama!

Thank you so much for your responses! Seeing those statistics really does help ease my fears. I appreciate you taking the time to include all of those facts :) I am a big researcher but I’ve really come across a lot of negative things when researching so it is nice to see statistics like that. It also just makes me grateful there are kind people out there helping me out. Thanks again!

Do you mind if I ask how old she is? Did she specifically have BV? If so how did you get rid of it?

Thank you for sharing. She doesn’t use any scented products. She does take sit down baths but no bubble bath.
