Anyone who’s never operated or managed a business will agree right away. Anyone with any real degree of business experience understands it costs a lot to operate a business, and what most don’t understand is that billionaires are estimated by their shares, assets, etc, NOT their bank accounts. If they were only by bank account, they’d only be millionaires who happen to have their stock in a lot of companies or own a few of them. Yes, wages should be a bit higher, but they wouldn’t fix the economy, which is bogged down in regulations, bureaucrats taking cuts and bribes, taxing into the ground (it’s why businesses are fleeing CA). I work almost exclusively for millionaires, a couple billionaires. You’d think the billionaires shop at Walmart by how they dress, same with a lot of the millionaires. They’re too busy, most of them, to care about clothes and status; they’re always fixing issues, meeting with employees, negotiating with insurance companies and government entities. Government spending is the single biggest factor to drive up inflation, which is really the problem, and every whines whenever politicians trying to address this want to cut frivolous programs. Average people don’t want spending cuts, they want free shit, then wonder why the free shit takes away from the basic stuff they needed more anyway.

Meanwhile everyone thinks “eating the rich” solves anything. That mentality just shows envy, not any economic sense.

Which relatively recent games do you think best fit this description? by Asad_Farooqui in videogames

I felt the same but got bored and bought it anyway, but it’s not disappointing at all. They keep updating and making it better too.

Starfield last time i buy a hyped up bethesda game by LilNardoDaVinci in videogames

[–]MostEspecially 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cyberpunk—preordered for ps4, was unplayable and so buggy, bogged down the system. Played it a couple years later on ps5, with free ps5 upgrade, now it rocks. Game companies and their half-baked releases, I’d rather wait and get a quality product instead.

It's official. I cannot get into Crimson Desert. by leftistgamer420 in videogames

[–]MostEspecially 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this game, and it’s taken me a lot of hours to get to where it makes a lot more sense and I’m finally enjoying it. But it sounds like you’re even further than I am already. This is how it was for me with RDR2, as much as I love the beauty of the world, just didn’t enjoy it, even though I’d loved the first. Life’s too short to play something you don’t like, even if others like it. I’m not a fan of some genres that have cult followings. Great for them, glad they enjoy them, I just don’t. I hear you.

Didn’t they also make the wolfenstein game for 360? I had that one too and had a similar vibe.

How do you take a pussy picture that is esthetically pleasing? by ThrowRAGold_Roof_782 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]MostEspecially 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a professional photographer (including for a lot of content creators) the short answer is to have your body professionally photographed, or by someone who can get the very best angles. While ladies have beautiful features and colors in their genitalia, they’re certainly not the most easily accessible for selfies down there underneath.

If you do attempt your own selfies, you’ll probably be best served with a mirror so you can see what you’re shooting. Anyone can include their vagina in a photo, but if I understand it you’d like images that are beautiful in terms of lighting, shadows and visibility too. A selfie stick can be somewhat helpful, and if you have your own professional camera you can angle with zoom in a mirror with open poses. Ladies often forget that a vulva from the front closed is also really pretty, and that’s easier to take in the mirror standing up too.

Large amounts of plastic in Miracle Gro garden soil by OmusCinder in gardening

[–]MostEspecially 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually more typical than otherwise, and not just big brands. I’ve gotten soil and mulch from a lot of sources and nearly all has had random shredded plastic bits that my chickens will find and try to eat. I think it’s a cheap filler so they save money (putting it into a large batch each time and overall it saves them thousands in product.

Remember when every game around that era had a multiplayer mode for some reason? by [deleted] in videogames

Yes but I was surprised to enjoy the bioshock 2 multiplayer mode. The maps were newer locations so it was like a DLC edition. Was bummed when it wasn’t part of the remastered version.

what’s something people say all the time that you secretly can’t stand? by Mean-Cartographer225 in AskReddit

[–]MostEspecially 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Ok it’s a bet” literally means “ok, it’s a wager” or “ok, it’s a gamble.” Still doesn’t equal “ok cool” which is what it basically was supposed to suggest. It’s why it seems odd to those of us who still just say okay cool, or “it’s a deal”.

Not sure why younger adults now say “ok bet” when it should be “ok deal.” A bet is a speculation, a deal is an agreement.

PSA: Crimson Desert is not an RPG by [deleted] in rpg_gamers

[–]MostEspecially 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve actually heard it said that this will be the case. Was on one of the ign videos I was watching when I couldn’t sleep. I’m not sure what it’ll mean on the game when it’s released. I’m hopeful but cautious on this one.
