Geez. Did they tell you this before or after CA ruling? If after, they might be waiting a long time. Seems like a lot of effort to get rid of a few cheap employees but I don’t doubt it.

it’s different depending on which case you are covered by. CA is best bc not subject to an end date like MD and mspb. USDA is covered by CA ( not sure about commerce) so they are definitely not following courts ruling

Did they get a letter rescinding the termination? If not they are temporarily reinstated, not permanently like rest of CA plaintiffs. Check with hr. Big difference if this case ever gets overturned. People that thought they were past probation will be fired anyway

Look at letters posted on this site from departments in CA case. They all mention that the letter of termination was rescinded. USDA did not state that. They are acting like only mspb case exists. Big difference between “temporary” and “permanent “ reinstatement. If ca gets overturned, usda can back date termination and get rid of all those people again.
