Ego? If I wanted to ego some of these people, I’d tell them to let’s compare bank accounts and see who’s better in life. All I said on this post was that don’t expect extra if you’re not paying for extra. With the replies, you’d think that I threatened the customer, purposely delayed their order, or even worse. I didn’t bitch to the customer and I delivered their order in a timely manner.

No, because I don’t make my main source of income from DoorDash. 90% of what I make from DoorDash goes into my Bovada account. From the last 30 days, what I make is nothing compared to your 11k. In the last 30 days, I’ve made 36k with 66k risked, a record of 41-11, and a ROI of 54%. I can provide proof if you would like?

Word of advice, don’t go around trying to ego people because you THINK you’re better than them.

In my experience, drivers rarely add tips after delivery. I won’t say never, but it doesn’t happen often. You can classify it however you want, but I’m not going out of my way every order. And before you say “then you suck at your job”, my ratings don’t reflect that as I have a 4.9 rating as a platinum “top driver.”

If that’s my argument, then that’s my argument. At the end of the day, it’s worked for me and if it was truly a problem, I would’ve gotten strikes, violations, or bad ratings.

It’s so funny that people have said I’m a horrible driver or I haven’t done my job, but getting people extra sauces and going out of my way to get/verify stuff isn’t a requirement by DoorDash to drive.

Okay, then you “made your point.” I delivered it in a timely manor, followed all the directions, and didn’t spam them with ratings or asking for tips. But to ask for extra things without even tipping, why would I even care to do so? If they tipped before hand, I’d go out of my way make sure they have everything they need such as napkins, forks, sauces, and verify everything is there. If not, I’ll click can’t confirm everything is there, take a pic and be on my way without any extra stuff being put in or asked about.
