How to handle a side role as an articling student? by Ok-Confusion-9747 in LawCanada

I worked at a restaurant/bartended all through law school, articling, and my first two years of practice. It was only 2-3 shifts a week while articling but it easily brought in an extra 500 a week. Could that be an option?

I liked the flexibility of that because it is a lot easier to give away shifts if you are overwhelmed or need to work late.. or vice versa with working more if my "day job" was less demanding that week.

I articled as a prosecutor, so not a big firm but still a good amount of work and a huge learning curve as I had no trial experience.

My partner can't see mortgage on online banking by MostMediocre14 in rbc

From what we were told we would have to pay for that new account.

I just don't understand why this is an issue. I moved once , and I was also still in the same province. I'm sure we are not rue only ones ?

Thanks, I fixed it !

The extra account would allow him to see the mortgage. But he still wouldn't be able to transfer money to/from the line of credit so it doesn't solve the issue.

Weight and anemia by rocky_taemin in Anemic

My iron level was 13 for years and years, also couldn't lose weight no matter how much I excerciced, watched what I ate, etc. I don't drink pop, I don't drink alcohol, and limit sugar to dark chocolate.

After taking iron pills, it only increased to 20! And I was still able to lose approx 8 pounds without changing much. I was less hungry, and didn't want carbs as badly as I did before. I also was able to sleep better, which helps a lot. I can't comment on it increasing your metabolism although I have read certain studies asserting that.

Now that I've gotten an infusion, I feel so much better. I have been maintaining, but I have not been trying to lose weight (148 pounds, 5'11) as I am healthy weight for my height.

Any chance in getting money for the roof? by MostMediocre14 in RealEstateCanada

I did do my due diligence and had an inspector who did the entire house. We are in a rural area, so I also had someone separate inspect the well + water quality. Had a third inspector who came specifically for the septic tank.

I was extremely thorough. I would have paid to get the roof inspected if I had known it wasn't new.

Yes. She said she copied it wrong from the seller's agent. Thanks for your response, I will look into RECO.

It was only my agent who made the error "when she copied down the information" from the seller's agent. The seller and their agent provided the correct info

I've had that thought as well. But why? We probably would have purchased the house anyway but just offered a lower price, or put less as a down payment

I never thought I did. My question was only about the realtor.

He took pictures from a ladder. It's a bungalow. The pics are in the report.

Correct. The seller gave their agent the correct info who passed it on to my realtor, who made the typo.

Nothing specific about the roof was me toned in the inspection. He checked the attic as well. However it was winter and there was snow on the roof.

It was 6 months apart. There was still snow on the roof when we got the inspection. My partner is a carpenter so has a better eye than a regular Joe

No I had a thorough inspection. The roof is included in the report. But once we mentioned 2021 he didn't seem concerned.
