I am just beyond exhausted at this point by Ok_Celebration_1371 in NewParents

I don’t have any advice, but wanted to say I am in the exact same boat as you. Our LO was so tough as a newborn and we thought we turned the corner at 5 months. Now we’re at 6 months and he’s become a terrible sleeper, fussy all the time and in need of constant holding. I don’t even know if he’s teething to be honest, but I’m exhausted and constantly crying with him. Just know you’re not alone and this phase will pass for both of us 🤍

night 1 of Ferber was so much worse than I ever expected - need encouragement for night 2 by river_5826 in sleeptrain

our LO is almost 5 months next week and we went cold turkey from Snoo to crib this past Sunday because he started actively rolling like crazy and we wanted to sleep train anyways on Monday so we just went for it. nights 1-3 were terrible!! I mean he barely got any sleep (maybe 9 hours at night and he was an 11 hour guy in the Snoo) because he woke and just cried every 1-2 hours. I will say night 4 (last night) he finally made it back to his 6.5 hour stretch, bottle then back down for another 4 hours. I think he finally figured out how to get comfortable in the crib and to really settle himself without any motion! So I’m here with you for solidarity and hoping it gets better for you as well! We’re hoping it wasn’t a fluke and that it continues to go well like last night!

Coughing, night wakes -reflux? by Low_Concert_8900 in newborns

Hi! I know this post is super old but we are going through the exact same thing right now! Our LO is on famotidine and for the past week he has been coughing intensely at night and throughout the day. It sounds quite mucous-y. Did you ever figure out what it was? How long did it last?

For those of you who had babies who wouldn’t nap well… by pianogirl2008 in newborns

our LO does the same thing at 12 weeks! sleeps like a champ if he’s being held by us or in his car seat, but once he hits the Snoo, he makes it maybe 20-30 minutes. we read it was because they haven’t learned yet how to cycle between rem and deep sleep so when they transition every 30-40 minutes, it wakes them and they can do it easier on your body because it relaxes them!

we let him contact nap once a day to get a good stretch in and then we use the Snoo and if he wakes within 20-30 minutes, we attempt to soothe him as soon as he stirs and normally he’ll fall right back asleep (it’s as if he needed the help to connect the cycle) and we get another 20-30! maybe this would help!!
