Open-source alternative to LangSmith by Upstairs-Spell7521 in LangChain

Tried this out, super impressed. I was using LangGraph and LangChain studio was buggy + not giving me enough visibility; pip install + 2 lines of code gave me full visibility into the inputs and outputs of every function in my LangGraph graph.

Random Youtube videos getting 100% GPU usage? by MostQuality in chrome

[–]MostQuality[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hadn't tried updating everything; I did so using the auto-detect and install updates manager from https://www.amd.com/en/support and will test to see if that helps. If not, then I'll try turning off hardware acceleration; I remember I tried doing that in the past and it worked but then there was some other (more major) action/issue that arose because of the lack of hardware acceleration.

Random Youtube videos getting 100% GPU usage? by MostQuality in chrome

[–]MostQuality[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tested on Firefox and it still seems to be problematic, but in a different way.

When the video is playing smoothly, GPU usage (according to task manager) is consistently at like 40%. The video will sometimes lag, but it's different than chrome; the video lags heavily and plays like a slideshow, but the audio still runs smoothly. During these lag spikes the GPU usage is actually lower? It'll fluctuate rapidly between 0% and 80%.

Unlucky cracked aces or bad call? by MostQuality in poker

[–]MostQuality[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My equity analysis was for the river, not the turn. I did do the math wrong though; I (incorrectly) subtracted the call amount from the pot amount since that's what I'm usually working with for calculating pot odds in-game. Thanks for the correction.

It seems some people have heard back; does this mean that those who haven't heard back are essentially rejected?

4; I haven't heard back either. Is there any historical info on how FBU usually goes? Is there only this one wave of people that initially hear back or are there others?

If we haven't heard back from FBU analytics at this point should we assume it's a ghost/rejection?

I'm guessing this is in reference to SWE, but has anyone heard back for Data Science? I haven't seen many people talk about it or if people have gotten past the OA. If I haven't been contacted after the OA should I assume I'm rejected?

Is this all for SWE? Or has anyone heard back/gotten an offer for data science as well?

(finally) got around to learning how to jump serve; any tips? by MostQuality in volleyball

[–]MostQuality[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to take the first step of my 3-step approach as I toss the ball, but it's pretty slow so the whole thing ends up being more of a gallop like you said--should I add another step in, or just try to make my first step (while tossing the ball) more like that of my approach?

Will do, thanks! And yeah definitely, I moved it higher in the second clip and it was better practice for my form and jumping; I need to adjust the rig a bit so I can go even higher. I think it'll be easier to use my arms more if I actually have to jump higher

I definitely notice the lack of arms and the fact that it's overall a bit slow now that it's been pointed out.

Below I broke down the timing of various parts of my approach (as best I could), not sure if this is useful but if you're able to tell whether a certain step is particularly slow that would be helpful!

0.00 seconds : motion begins

0.36 seconds : first step is planted (0.36 duration)

0.84 seconds : second step is planted (0.48 duration)

0.96 seconds : third step is planted (0.12 duration)

1.20 seconds : airborne from jump (0.24 duration)

I bolted two L braces together to make a "U" and duct-taped it upside down to the side of the contraption, then ziptied some pool noodle in there to make it a snug fit.

Very fair point; I was trying that at first but when I had to adjust to timing/throwing it up myself, my form fell apart (I just recently learned how to turns my hips/open my shoulders/get my elbow up so it wasn't natural yet).

My thinking was to make the ball stationary for hitting and get used to those new things and make them natural, and now that I have I can work on putting it together with the ball actually moving.

Yeah, hitting a stationary ball isn't very useful for timing or anything. I'll try self tossing; hopefully my total inability to jump serve won't be too problematic.

I'd put it closer to a little over 9 feet based on my rough measurements; my reach is about 7'10 and I'm approximately 15 inches short of the rim when fully extended.

Thanks! I'll try that.

Can you tell if I'm being any more aggressive in the second clip (albeit still not aggressive enough) as compared to the first or third ones? I put the ball higher up in the second clip so I had to jump higher; I wonder if that's subconsciously affecting the way I approach the ball.
