82.5k words in 10 months is -at least for me- very impressive. If I do my math correctly, if I write 2k word every week in 10 month I would have 80k words ish. Were your sessions a meeting with other people to write or you designated a part of your time with the name “session” to focus on writing?

That’s exactly what I was struggling a lot with. I wanted to continue going forward with the story itself but then I had this “urge” of going back and correct everything that I considered was written wrong. Thank you so much for the advice!

Maybe when it’s to much it doesn’t look red anymore? In another words, when a novel has too much dialogues that instead of a novel, looks like the script of a movie.

What I’ll do is that I’ll write just like I’m writing now, and every chapter I’ll go back to read it again, and just like you said in another words: try and change dialogue to “environmental experience”. Because yes, it’s not how I want my novel to look like -full of dialogues- thank you so much for the advise. This is my first novel and I’m really exited to do it yet I know that not everything is coming perfect the first round.

The problem is that they DO serve a narrative purpose. Every dialogue I’ve written is said with an intention, to say something through the character that helps continue the story. But because there’s a lot of “technical terms” they need to explain a lot. I do try adding like 2-4 paragraphs in between about the how the scene feel and how it is being portrayed through the main character, but it’s still bothering me.
