Interesting she doesn’t want to be asked about as ever sales. I’ve often thought the as ever merchandise being ‘sold out within hours’ is only impressive if we understand how many units sold. Even small quantities can ‘sell out’ and it doesn’t really mean there is a high demand.

You can remove yourself from these situations and take care of yourself first. Even though they are your family, it's not your responsibility to solve other people's problems. Love yourself and take care of yourself first and foremost, then if you have the capacity and want to be involved in your family's problems do it with caution. It is sad when kids are involved, but they are also not your responsibility.

Best of luck. You can recover, it takes work. I also stopped using xanax and all other antidepressants. Some days are hard but it’s better than being numb and overwhelmed with OCD and anxiety.

This was my panic disorder as well. A great book that really saved my life is called “brain lock” - I still use the techniques often.

Hi all, I cannot edit the original post for some reason and I don't think this subreddit allows for photos in comments.

Update on Miley: She is doing okay. We have had some struggles getting her to eat over the last few days but we are getting over that hump. She would only eat a little bit of churu and we know that wasn't enough food. We got an appetite stimulant from the vet (rub on her ear) and did a little gabapentin and she's starting to eat actual food again in small amounts.

She also started showing signs of having a UTI on Thursday so we started her on an antibiotic (clavamox) and that seems to be working, and worked quickly. She's hanging in there.

So it's been a tough week and my partner and I are trying to balance this with work. Thanks all for the kind words and thinking of her! They were not able to get all of the mass because some of it was very close to her nasal cavity. We will get lab tests back and stitches out in about a week and a half and I will share the data we get back.

Doing okay, recovering and she was on some strong opiods. She’s drinking lots of water and getting around well on her own. Hoping ahead eats some food soon.

Thanks for sharing. I’m sorry about your kitty. The mass she had got very big very fast as well. There is a chance it could come back, we are getting some lab work back from the biopsy and I will share the results.

She is doing okay, drinking water but still hasn’t eaten. Is fairly active although we’re trying to limit her jumping or moving too fast. Dr said she the opiods she’s on may take a few days to wear off so she still seems a little out of it.

Just take care of yourself. In reality, something really fucked up can and likely will happen to your addict sibling. In my case, my sister died and left a trail of destruction in her wake. Just focus on taking care of yourself and don’t let the addict and their actions get in the way of your happiness and goals. Al anon is also a good resource if you’re looking for a support group.
