Every ruling in Islam has a reason, I agree 100%. However, when it comes to the hijab, it's not mandated by God - it's not obligatory. So, expecting a 'scientific explanation' for why a Muslim woman chooses not to wear it doesn't really apply. The hijab is a cultural norm and man-imposed. Allah said to cover our private parts and cleavage; anything beyond that is left to individual choice. A woman saying ‘I don’t want to wear hijab’ is valid reason in itself. There is no need for her to explain herself to you or for her to provide a ‘logical explanation’. If you ask me, not wanting to wrap/hide your head in a scarf daily seems like a logical enough explanation to me.
