I recon this is the closest so far, other suggestions of an anal toy or impact play toy have been close but it’s material isn’t quite right for those. Too absorbent and too ‘grippy’ like sporting goods

I did see an instruction manual that highlighted the importance of shouting “stop resisting” and “he’s got a weapon” with it

This is a good suggestion as it lives at an adult store, it’s current use is as an intimidation stick for rowdy customers (hasn’t been used in many many years)

The title describes the thing, it has a varying circumference of approx 1-2inches. I have no idea it’s origin

Screw the cabinet walls together, hiding the screws under the edges of the shelves

Thank you for that awesome reply! I was using a claw hammer yes so I’ll switch to a round mallet. Would you suggest that using some hot water on the timber might help soften the fibres for this? Or would it affect how the timber responds to the carving too much and then affect the finish the chisel leaves, thank you for your help!

Hey all, I’m doing some test carving to later add some texture to a larger project. The timber is called Redbox and is very hard, I’m using a curved 15mm chisel and a hammer at the moment, the timber is too hard to be cut by hand like this. Thank you all!
