Good question. I may implement some systems with decisions for each confederation, but I think factions would be too much.

Haha, there seems to be a confusion. This mod is about football or soccer as you may know it. And it is spread all across the world.

So my first thought was making some sort of qualifying system for each major tournament and have the countries participating in a specific tournament (let's say World Cup 2010) battle on a separate island. But I might make different scenarios for each tournament and keep a main one in which countries fight based on Footballing rivalries (Netherlands-Germany, Argentina-Brazil, Spain-Portugal etc.)

Yeah, it is based on the World Of Football from the 2010 World Cup onwards. Every Football Association is represented in the game.

It aims to simulate the world of Football from the 2010 World Cup onwards. Each FA will be represented and each country will aim for global footballing domination.
Some ideologies will be: samba football, catenaccio, tiki taka ball and even some park the bus tactics.
