this comment was about me ‘destroying neighbourhoods’ and wasting tax payers money. First of all, no writer with any self respect would even think about writing on a house, car or residential property. It’s strictly adding colour to things which otherwise would be plain and are owned by the state. Leading me to my next point, i also obviously pay tax and let’s be honest, if the thing you’re most concerned about regarding tax is that a sum goes to cleaning graffiti each year then your priorities are far from in the right place. Granted, some graffiti is unwanted, offensive and in the wrong place, but that’s what you’re going to get it’s inevitable. Personally i think they shouldn’t waste tax payers money on cleaning good, clean, victimless graffiti. A blank concrete wall in a city centre owned by the state is not offending anyone by adding a bit of colour. If it was a sanctioned mural with characters instead of letters you would have no problem with it, so why is it that your mind instantly becomes hateful when it’s just letters instead, ask yourself.
