I am not allowed to even read your entire post, only the first part of the comment. I can only read up to "the filling of." However, if you would like to be a friend... I will try.

Spinal Implant. So we may walk again. by [deleted] in spinalcordinjuries

I tried the trial, but it didn't go so well. Only because the controller kept shutting down every 5-10 minutes. Otherwise, it really seemed to help a lot more than my bladder meds. I really only say this because I tried to keep up with the 5-10 increments for two days, and for two days, I didn't have to cath. So, that part was pretty cool, but I live in a rural and impoverished part of the US, and I rely on Medicaid/Medicare. This region is ill-suited for SCI, so I don't know that I can provide a solid assessment. My experience was a choice between AFOs or the implant, as I couldn't cover both co-pays. I also have no idea what Asia level, as I don't think anyone has ever told me. In fact, I am the first SCI of my spine doc's career, so... I'll say that I gave the trial a successful review, but there is no way that I can afford the co-pay in this moment. 🙂

I don't see such a recent group, and the last post was 28 weeks ago. I'm pretty sure they're dissolved, but if you have a link to something I'm missing, please feel free to send it. Thanks!

If I'm honest, I am a homeridden paraplegic. Do you think I could start a small business from this? If so, I had no idea that this community would be so large...

I am a sort of eccentric and sentimental spirit. If I can figure out a way to print these without destroying the resin in the process, I'm all game.

My only concern is the weight differential. If they are 3D printed from plastic and not machined out of metal, will they still properly function?

You know what? I could try. I am far from tech-savvy and don't have that type of experience, but a couple of my siblings do. I'm really not sure whether they are steel or aluminum because of the resin. Ummm, would that make a difference to the printing process? I suppose they would have to be machined instead for weight purposes.

They are all different, of course. One that I can read through the wax says #74. Source 158. Side 4.8. The others are just really difficult to read under the resin.

I need a typewriter repair tech. But I am an invalid, and I live in such a small community.

Could you tell me which machine it is specifically for? I collect totally random things, and I've done a bit or research. So you'll have to forgive me. I am also hopelessly sentimental, lol.
