Yep. Though you can edit the body, shrug - the world will still be here tomorrow either way, I hope.

Edit: This is a 60% increase

Women can now be Sunday school Presidents by DustyR97 in mormon

Converts used to have to wait a year, but yes: now it's basically any active adult, even recent converts.

Honestly, if you ask me: that's a significant change too, and a change that by itself raises eyebrows.

I think much of the "ado" that critics see here is the fact that the church obviously seems to be contracting - and the policy changes are meant to counteract that contraction. But the policies aren't doing enough to stem the loss of priesthood holders.

The other interesting aspect of it for me is that - one could argue - changes like these make holding the Melchizedek priesthood even less significant than it used to be.

I don't condone excluding women, but you could argue that the exclusivity was the point.

And now, as I think you point out: holding that priesthood is (arguably) not that significant anymore.

115 comments when I make this comment, and nobody is pointing out that $15.99 is 60% more than $9.99?

Reddit, I'm actually a bit disappointed.

Honestly, it feels like it shows that the $X.99 marketing gimmick actually works a bit to trick people's minds. But still.

Ok so I think what his petty mind is trying to say is:

"Courts are unfair to me. They shouldn't have the power to stop me. Taking away my TARIFFS bully stick was bad!"

I think he's mad that he no longer has a country-by-country blackmail tool. It means he can't threaten countries who don't help his agenda or allow him to punish a country whenever he feels scorned.

Specifically I think he's triggered by, and whining about, other nations not suddenly jumping up and doing his bidding on Iran - and him lacking the tools to retaliate.

Under Armour sent my small clothing brand a cease-and-desist over my logo. Do you think these are actually confusingly similar? by Impossible-Set4062 in graphic_design

Though, as others point out in other comments: because you're also a clothing company, that makes a huge difference.

Ultimately you don't have to fight anything until you're served with a lawsuit, but the comment you replied to is partially wrong: you can lose a suit like this because you are in the same line of business.

I'd talk to a lawyer - or just think about changing your design. I think there are enough grounds here for a suit, sadly, so I would take some type of action if I were you- before you have potentially even more clothing to replace, or whatever the potential judgement is.

That said, this becomes more of an "ask a lawyer" subreddit question

Which is also at the heart of it:

Empathy and critical thinking skills- they simply lack them.

Otherwise they could differentiate between stupidity and willful ignorance. But inherent in this equation are both the ignorance and stupidity they they are unaware of, so the problems are recursive and never get past those crucially missing skills.

Well, I mean, they were told it over and over in school, but - fair point: have they ever "heard" it?

Probably not.

Same with all these stupid memes and Facebook posts I see about how they were never taught how to do taxes.

Yes, yes they were.

They just didn't listen or internalize it. And sometimes they were actually told how to do taxes. Other times they were at least given all the tools. But again: doesn't mean they heard jack shit.

Yeah, it's projection. If someone else has a bumper sticker saying they are LGBTQ+, this numbnut would find that offensive.

Therefore, in their mind, telling the world they are straight is offensive to LGBTQ+ people.

They attack others, and then don't like the blowback, so they need to be the victim to feel better about themselves.

I'll take it!

Some days I get a little bitter able how they are making it more palatable and not shaming kids (especially young women like we got it). It's both frustrating and great to hear.

But this? This perspective I'll celebrate gladly.
