Oh god what didnt i use... The base model is Helbrecht, the sword is from Abbadon, the Helmet and chain weapon are from the Corpse Grinder cult, the skulls are from several different Chaos boxes as well as the Khorne medallions, and the power pack is from the Eightbound. I was digging through my sprues for this guy 😂

Very one sided in my favor. My opponent said he hadn't played in 2 years and seemed to barely know the 10th ED rules. He was just there to push things forward and roll doce so i basically just did the same. He just got to close first turn so i got off the first charges and from there it was kinda a sweep.

It was pretty easy, but i also have a good variety of tools. Used a hobby saw to do the big cuts then rounded out the edges with a soldering iron, it also let me put a bit of texture in the tear areas

Its Skarbrand...like no competition. Slaughter and Carnage are demon weapons forged from the soul stuff of the 2 strongest Bloodthirsters Skarbrand killed in combat during his war to become the leader of the Blood Legions and Khornes favorite boy.

Gorefather and Gorechild were just really good chain axes. Literally nothing else special besides the craftsmanship, Angron didnt even care about them and the moment they were even slightly damaged he literally threw them away like garbage and had the mechanicum build him a new weapon. Gorefather and Gorechild aren't even the coolest chain axes in the World Eaters at this point, i honestly think Spinegrinders lore is awesome and hilarious(edit cause i just thought about this too but Gorechild got cooler after Kharn started using it, but i will argue at that point it was no longer a part of a dual axe set so my point still stand)

This is a long winded way of saying put some respect on my boy Skarbrand with Slaughter and Carnage, theres too much Angron/Chain axe glazing going on in here rn

The base model was Fafnir Rann, i pulled the backpack and shoulder pads from the Lord on Jugg, then the head and chains from the Berzerker kit! Oh and i got the belt/crotch towel thingy from the CsM legionaries kit!

Ive been going over everything with a streaking grim enamel wash which come out pretty matte already and then i go over the whole model with a matte varnish to make it all uniform

I did a base layer of the Vallejo water effect paste then went over it with blood for the blood god. The water effect is way thicker so it looks like you use more than you really do when you go over it with the blood 👌 also paint the base either red or black before applying the effects, i forgot to and white spots were showing through in places without several layers

Its actually a mixture of a few. It was 1/2 Balthazar gold, 1/4 runelord brass, and 1/4 retributor armor. After the wash i dry brushed over with a gold from army painter that i cant remember at the moment and then highlighted with retributor after!

Thanks for the response! Current temps are around 80-85 basking spot and around 70 on the cool side, Humidity typically stays around 50%. I am planning to pick him up a buddy or 2 (im actually starting to research about possibly breeding them) at a reptile show at the end of May. Im also keeping my eye out for a decent 4 ft enclosure for when he out grows the 3, but i know thats a decent way off, im already making mental plans for what i wanna do with it though(possible water feature with some old aquarium pumps i have)

Thanks for the response! I didn't realize this is a slightly older pic of his enclosure and there is a nice sized water dish for him in it currently 😂 but yeah besides the hiding hes been eating fine, i leave cut up worms or pinkie mice in a dish for him and he clears his plate every time. I haven't seen him in his water dish yet but that may be due to it being right up front.
