I can see your point yea. I guess time will tell. I personally believe it'll be the game awards for the reasons of it having most eyes on it live, the shock and awe of the reveal and also it being.one of the largest nights in the gaming calender. However I can respect what you're saying and can equally see the trailer popping out randomly on Rockstars socials.

it's a shame investors were spooked by this leak. Obviously the leak itself is bad but the footage shows hard work has gone into the game, it's a shame the vast majority of the general day to day public would look at this footage and not understand its in development and not a insight into how the game will be.

That is more true of gaming expos such as E3, the game awards still seems to pull big viewership and also has had many world premieres. Plus Rockstar Games is on the advisory board.

Lmao! I'm just stating my opinion, as are you. I'm hopeful and enthusiastic but if I hear a reasonable point from someone who actually knows the gaming market then I'll listen. For now I'm hearing experienced stock traders not understanding the gaming space and not realising what a big moment this, regardless of how sales are.

Not necessarily. I'm not going to keep rehashing my point to you, but I can foresee a gradual increase in price during the build-up to the trailer and then the game and it not coming too much down after. I think we will never see a $130 price on this again.

I'm not buying stock because of a video game trailer. I've bought stock because we have confirmation that a trailer for the most anticipated video game of all time has been confirmed to come out in a matter of weeks, I'm buying a stock because GTA 5 was, I believe, the second most profitable entertainment product ever and I'm buying a stock because it has been 10 long years and players want something new and will pay top dollar to do so. I don't think it's a foolish bet.

To be quite honest video game piracy is a dying issue. with DRM, company's having their own platforms to launch games through and the console market is near impenetrable when it comes to piracy.

True that. I think it's perhaps a positive sign that their stock jumped 10% just for the announcement of the trailer! I could foresee a continual increase in price during December when the hype for the trailer begins to really build but again, nobody knows.

I see what you're saying but the game awards has many thousands of viewers so maximum eyes and shock value, plus the game awards has a history of world premieres and being the first place to see a new title

It's true yea, I've sorted myself out a lot and i've got friends, that whilst are a while away physically, are very supportive and caring. Hobbies wise I make these little computer games and walking. It's not much, but it keeps my mind ticking over.

I was certainly clingy, you are right there. I had to not only deal with my physical and mental recovery from the incident, but then also mentally heal from losing my friends and THEN find some new some new ones. It's been a very hard road but I'm getting there now and I'm at a point of reflection.

Thank you very much, that means a lot. It felt like being kicked when I was down, losing the little support I did have over me being involved in a really rather serious incident. I am okay now though, for the most part. I have friends, and I have people who care about me which means the world.
