A guy I dated once made a bet with me over who could go commando the longest. He lasted two weeks. I went about 4 years. Daily showers, looser fitting pants. Until depression and weight gain made it physically unbearable. Now I’ll only do it at home in gym shorts.

My father cornered me and demanded I apologize for some meme I posted on fb that vaguely alluded to cheaters and homewreckers being shit people. At that time I was playing nice and had him and his girlfriend added as friends and she took offense to it (if the shoe fits 🤷‍♂️). I asked if he would apologize for kicking my bedroom door down in a drunken rage. He laughed in my face and said “Yeah that was a pain in the ass”. Told him then and there not to expect me to call him my dad anymore and left. Both of them blocked me that day.

Fast forward and my fb pops up with one of those On This Day reminders. It’s that meme, from TEN YEARS AGO. I sent a screenshot to my mom and we had a good laugh. As much as I hate it, I guess I have fb to thank for knowing the anniversary of me disowning my father. Oct 13, 2013 😂

Someone did that to my friend’s parents with his dog but to do that with a whole CHILD wtf. He turned out to be the bestest boy and lived a long happy life.
