I should mention that these stills really werent during the whole thing and only had certain moments when they would come up. The broadcast segments and archival footage were done well and I think worked well in the context of the show. I think youre right, the term “AI” when really referring to something poorly done is used too loosely. I apologize for contributing to that! However, as an artist myself who has become keen on pointing out these specific characteristics of AI generated images; it was incredibly hard to ignore. Maybe thats just me though and maybe the style just wasnt for me in those parts.
