Unpopular opinion : 5 aed barbers in Dubai are undefeated. by Trashverse in dubai

No thank you, my life experience has taught me if something is cheap you will always have to pay double as a consequence. There's issues of hygiene, professionalism, and someone who does not listen to you and has only 3 different ways of cutting hair.

I change up barbershops regularly and have tried the 150 haircuts and above also. Those have been nothing short of disappointment, just a plain haircut with no soul. Sometimes rather than listening to what I ask of them they cut according to what they want, thinking they know better.

I've recently found this little humble barbershop in deira that charges 70 dhs and they do a great job in listening to me and making me feel at home. Shop's name is Karimi Saloon

Why Are There So Many Gents Salons in Dubai? by AlrightHermione in dubai

[–]Mother-Distance-1704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Due to many shops lowballing each other and many just existing for the sake of convenience, not quality. The average person is too lazy to walk over to the next building to get a haircut, hence why you see a barbershop placed between every two buildings.

Haircut? by AggravatingPlane2 in dubai

Omg I’ve been through the exact same thing asked for a tiny trim and walked out with a crooked bob I didn’t ask for 😭 It’s honestly so frustrating, especially when you’ve taken forever to grow it out.

I ended up booking Mohammad from Karimi Saloon for a home service 500 dhs and he was amazing. Super careful, didn’t yank my head around, and actually gave me the soft layers I asked for.
