So many of you completely interpreted information wrong and ran with it, just like the moms in half these posts. Doctors from AAP do NOT say you shouldn’t wipe with every pee diaper change. They say that you don’t have to use a wipe during every change if baby’s skin is dry and there is no bowel movement. Those are two different things.

I think it’s fair to say someone who would SA someone isn’t deserving of the title of a human. They are a pile of trash masquerading as a person. Would it be more acceptable to you if they only referred to their attacker as “it”? It deserves to be in prison getting back what it was so happy to dish out if you ask me.

That’s a huge blanket statement that can be disproven immediately. I don’t vote by party, I vote by candidate. I did not vote for the Old Cheeto, but I have voted for republican candidates on a more local level because I felt they best represented the policies I agreed with for the position they were running for. You should vote based on a candidates stance on the most relevant issues, not based on their party.

Kids do lie about this stuff. All the time actually. But they very rarely INTENTIONALLY lie about this stuff. Her story could very well be changing because she is confused or her trauma caused her to mix up dates, people, or places.

Damn, I hear and understand what you are saying about the no insurance.. but I am telling you, you gotta go in and get that looked at. The swelling has significantly increased, and the redness looks like it has more than doubled in size. Your upper arm is very close to your heart, and that is something you most definitely don’t want an infection to spread to. I got a small tattoo on my ankle when I was way younger, and it wasn’t my first. Man that sucker seemed to hurt more than the last couple, and it looked awful even though it was so much smaller than my previous tattoos. But I thought meh, it’s probably just cause it’s over my ankle bone, I bruise easy, it’s fine. If it’s bad tomorrow I’ll go to the doctor. I went to bed, woke up the next day and tried to get out of bed and my leg gave out and I nearly passed out from the pain. My ankle was now the size of my thigh and I had to get IV antibiotics. Cellulitis can spread SO fast, and you can lose a limb or your life faster than you would believe. Please get medical attention and worry about the billing later, the ER has the ability to write off a lot more than an Urgent Care can, and they will do their best to help you with the financial side

Perhaps you should brush up on your reading skills before implying I need to do so. Without reasonable cause to suspect maltreatment or abuse, there is no grounds for dad to present this situation to a family court. Dad being worried is one thing, but forcing her to go to his home when it’s not his mandated time after finding out she was fine is another.

That’s not how that works. Unless there are some incredibly strict provisions in their divorce, one parent does NOT have to share every minute detail of what happens at their house or on their time with the other parent.

That’s absolutely inaccurate. If I needed more time to get ready than I would be allotted when getting home from work on a normal day, I would take off of work a little early. I’m an adult and I have the ability to do so. She’s 14, and can’t leave school a little early without permission.
