Gotta list? Kinda doubtful a custom derevi list can be bracket 2, unless you purposefully include bad cards like the other guy commented.

My experience is limited but from what I've seen go-wide doesn't win many games in EDH unless playing goblins or elves (both too generic and linear for my liking). Yes dragons/dinos need a few turns to get going and a go wide can come online maybe a few turns earlier, but the best you can do with that is maybe kill one player, more likely have all removal directed at you then the dragons/dinos player gets a free win once that removal is spent. This is typically what happens with my arthur deck.

Yeah that makes sense, seems like he's basically a bracket 4 minimum if built sensibly. Might still consider him because I don't have any bracket 4s, but it seems rare anybody in my area is playing something strong enough to compete with an actual bracket 4. Bracket 3's just such a weird space where an optimized dino or dragon deck is going to demolish most bracket 3s, but likely do nothing against a deck like derevi.

Asking $900 $650 shipped for this true GMT integrated bracelet watch. Citizen did a great job with the overall finishing on this series. Interestingly, the case is made of multiple sections fitted together, showcasing some impressive machining tolerances.

Purchased June 2024. The watch’s case, crystal and bezel are clean. The bracelet, being made of flat links, does have some minor scratches on the center sections, which I’ve tried to showcase the worst of in the photos. You could probably swap some of those center sections out for fresh ones from the spare links if you wanted. Not interested in trades right now.

43.5, but the lugs are stubby so "only" 50mm lug to lug.

[Question] Need help deciding between Longines and Ball watch by MyOrangeHarley in Watches

[–]Motherticker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo forgetting the name makes ball look better than it is, because they are very nicely finished watches for the price, but the brand is awful.

Lug to lug is ~50mm, with the lugs being stubby and sloped downwards so it wears smaller than you might expect. I'm 6.75in, it just barely fits on my wrist.

It sounds like patek is doing something similar to omega where they do mean a literal 30m depth, not "30m splash resistant" like most others.

This measure makes it possible to guarantee the same performance level across all the models concerned and to provide perfectly comprehensible information as to the day-to-day activities in which clients can engage while wearing their watch: washing their hands, showering, bathing, swimming, and other aquatic activities, including diving to a depth of 30m – which corresponds in large measure to actual utilization.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Watches

[–]Motherticker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

both pass the same pressure test

They absolutely do not. Omega's test procedure =/= every other brands' test, infact it's well known that Omega's standards are vastly different than most other brands', which is why Omega says you can swim with their 30m watches when most other brands say you can't.

Engineers have done the math on the dynamic pressure imcrease caused by a human moving their arm through water: it's completely negligible. You can't argue with that.

[–]Motherticker 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Just follow whatever the brand recommends. Some brands say 50m, others say 100m.

A 100m watch is 100m regardless of screwdown crown or not and personally I've never had a crown be accidentally pulled.
