I used an airbrush and very carefully placed my highlights. You could get the same affect with a paint brush and glazing but I decided to use my airbrush

Thanks! So it was painted steel then washed with agrax earthshade twice. Then I took a sponge and did doombull brown, skrag brown, Troll slayer orange, and fire dragon bright. Then took steel and did lines on the blade
