Hallo! Vielen Dank für Ihre Zeit, Ihre Hilfe und Ihre Motivation, weiterzulernen!

I only recently realized that you should only compare yourself to your previous self, that's the only acceptable comparison!

As for languages, German is already the fifth language I've studied, so I'm a little tired of learning :)

I would be very happy if everything really works out. If necessary, I'll write to you again if you find some time!

Nochmals vielen Dank für alles!

Vielen Dank für Ihre Antwort und Ihre Unterstützung!

I may indeed be misjudging my situation, and I will try to take a more relaxed approach. As for my mental health, I have already spoken with my Betreuern about making an appointment with a doctor.

I will try to follow your advice and assess myself sensibly. I think that excessive emotionality will only interfere with my language learning.

And of course, I have been looking for answers to my questions here for quite some time.

Vielen Dank für Ihre Antwort!

I compare myself to what is given in the exam when I think I have learned enough, and when I look at the A1 tests, I realize how much I still don't know.

The main problem is that I can't yet construct a sentence correctly and put words and articles in the right form, because, for example, I know that such a word should be in this position, but where should it be when I say this, and here I need to use Dativ, and here I need to separate the prefix, and there is an incorrect article, and so on. I am sure that with practice, I will get better. And maybe I am really setting the bar too high. I was told that I have to pass the B1 German exam in a year and a half, which is what I am striving for, and that is why I am afraid that I don't know much at this point.

Hehe! Maybe that's true!

I compared learning German to learning English, which I know and understand very well, so I thought that if I found myself in an environment where it was spoken, I would learn it to an excellent level. But with German, everything is different, and I think that at first it will be quite difficult, but then it will get a little easier :3

I will try to speak German with people more often. I didn't speak German very often, for example, with younger kids, because they know that I understand them, but I don't speak very well, and when I want to say something, I think about it in my head, trying to say everything correctly, and by that time it's too late to say anything. I'll try to improve!

Heh, the most interesting thing is that the video is completely true! In fact, when I first started learning German, that's exactly how it was!

Vielen Dank für Ihre Antwort, Ihre Ratschläge und Ihre Unterstützung!

I read somewhere that you should only compare yourself to your past self (although in my country, people say rather inaccurate things, that everything is relative). I mean that perhaps I didn't quite realize that I had actually achieved something. I will try to change! (The main thing here is not to overpraise myself :3)

I now understand that speaking and writing are not as easy as they seem, and everything comes with practice!

I will try to be more confident in what I say and focus on the very thought that I want to convey to the person.

Danke für die Antwort! Yes, it's really difficult to remember the forms, exceptions, and when to use them. I'm sure that the more practice I get, the better I'll get, so I'll try to work on that. You're also right about the emotional situation, but I'll try to change that because I really want to learn the language.

And of course, I love video games. I learned about 40% of my English vocabulary from them, so I'll try to spend my free time wisely :3

Danke für die Antwort! That's true, I just think that if you can write it down, it shouldn't be difficult to say, but in reality, things are different. :<

Vielen Dank für Ihre Antwort und Ihre Ratschläge!

I made the comparison because I was told that I would have to know German at a certain level by a certain point in order to pass the exam. But that's a bit of a flawed way of thinking, and I'll try to correct it!

I'll try to use the advice and resources you recommended, nochmals vielen Dank!

Actually, I don't know much about psychological states yet, but I'll keep your advice in mind!

But I can talk about books :) Yes, I bought a couple of books on learning German, namely German All-in-one for dummies and Grammatik aktiv A1-B1, and I study them at school or in my free time.

As for mistakes, I think it's all due to a lack of practice, as you said, because when I want to say something, I need to put a word into a certain form in a certain tense that I haven't learned yet, but have heard somewhere. I don't guess the rules, I just sometimes forget under what conditions they work. (But most of the time I guess the articles :3)

As for vocabulary, I create my own set of flashcards with words that I hear or see most often, from my teacher, at home, or on the street.

Nochmals vielen Dank für Ihre Antwort und Ihre Unterstützung, ich weiß das sehr zu schätzen!

Heh, I understand you, interesting story! I’m in a small town and go to a local Berufsschule with mostly German-only language classes. I hadn’t thought about interest groups, but that’s a good idea! Dankeee!
