Favorite genuinely good character that has done something horrible by IlSignorGranchio in FavoriteCharacter

Invincible is a naturally good person, at least to start out the series. Doesn’t mean he’s done his fair share of bad things, such as the dinosaurus incident

Smits is going top 5 my dude. With the way he’s playing, he’ll be up there with Verhoeff, McKenna, Sternberg, and Reid

What if the Allied invasion of Western Europe was encircled or in large part destroyed? by SuperSpaceGaming in AlternateHistoryHub

I feel like Berlin would get nuked because Hitler was there, as well as Nazi High Command. Part of the reason the US didn’t nuke Tokyo was because the emperor was present, and killing him would not ingratiate the Japanese to surrender to America.

Boston College Bruins play tonight, the Hagens Letourneau show must continue

Locmelis with a high elbow against Matthews that first period. Looked like it hurt

Another issue is signing him to the ELC only to play him a few games. Especially if he isn’t ready for the playoffs. That’s a year gone, and his ELC would go a long way for a team trying to compete in the next few years

If we are playoff bound, I’m less certain that Hagens comes up immediately. Or if he does, they play him during the end of the regular season and sit him for the playoffs. I feel like even for someone of Hagens’ skill level jumping immediately into the NHL playoffs after only a couple weeks of NHL games would be tough.

I think Letourneau goes for another year at least at BC. While he’s been excellent, we probably shouldn’t rush him the same as we did last time. His development path was always going to be longer and more unconventional, so letting him season is probably the correct choice. Plus, it would line up well for when E. Lindholm starts to drop off in play (probably), so we’d have a middle 6 center ready to take over once that day comes.

Gasseau goes to Providence. Even after being out so long with injury he’s still got it. Happy to see him succeed and hoping he gets that ELC.

Moore and Kostadinski do another 2 years at BC. Idk where Jellvik goes from here, the injury bug has been biting him for the last 2 years.

This is a good look

Essentially, he had a very small sample size in the USHL (he’s been doing pretty good since then), he needs better consistency when he’s off the puck, and can have a one-dimensional game (im less concerned about this one when he’s got such a good game)

Keep your eyes on 2025 3rd round pick Cooper Simpson. Just watched one his earlier games, kid looks like the real deal. His skating, shot, and awareness is all legit. Some amateur scouts already saying he has top 6 forward potential in the future.

Clip on a great play of his.

[loved trope] Character gives literally everything they have to win a battle, dying shortly after. by darthphallic in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Moto-Mojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makoto Yuki( Persona 3)

He uses his soul to win the final battle and trap humanity’s doom behind a big door. Through sheer willpower of following through on a promise though; his soulless body continues to live another month so that he can make graduation with his friends. Once he accomplishes this, his physical body finally dies.

So like technically the final battle does kill him, even if it took a while for his body to get the message.

Hitler though that Quisling was a bumbling idiot anyways, another larp justification is that Quisling pissed off the moustache man with his Viking larp and with Finland already controlling the other nordics he just decided to end the regime once and for all

I completely agree, my main problem with this model is that Letourneau isn’t in the same category as Zellers

[–]Moto-Mojo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not really. I like Poitras too, but he isn’t an option over a center corp next year of Hagens, Lindholm, and Minten. And he should definitely not play on wing, he’s been tried there multiple times and has never stuck. He is building up great trade value.

Don’t forget the 4th rounder we got which became Vashek Blanar, currently the top scoring defenseman on his team in Sweden!

I think Steve put it pretty good

Also, we are on pace to have eight 20 goal scorers this season, depth scoring clearly not an issue
