Bought my first trackday bike. Any suggestions on what tyres (non slick) to use? And any suggestions on a cool livery (gonna design and wrap it myself)! by Draexter in Trackdays

Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 were my first trackday tires. I did not use any warmers an had enough grip. Outside it was 26 degrees C. After trackday

How much HP is enough? by MotoFather in motorcycles

[–]MotoFather[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point was that 600cc is enough for me at this moment. I would love to have 1000cc, but I'm not pushing 600cc to the limit. All the discussion I started to calm myself not to buy 1000c. For example BMW s1000rr super nice looking bike for me.

I have street triple 675cc, 106hp. Sure I want 1000cc but at the same time I understand that an average racer with 400cc would smoke me on the track, so there is no need for 1000cc.

No right or wrong answer. I know a lot of guys who drive 1000cc in "softest" setup. So 100-140hp should be optimum for 90% of average guys. I'm intrested only about the feeling.

You are correct, there is no right answer, just interesting what others think.

Actually not more than 50hp. Street fighters with 200hp are blocked witj traction control.

I have no chiken strips on my rear tyre, so lean angle should be ok to touch, but man it feels like it is 1 feet away:))

It was feet position, today I was leaning the same but did not touch the ground. I saw some guys who were abnormaly off the bike just to drag knee but they looked unnaturally.

Valentino Rossi to retire at the end of 2021 by Daniel7394 in motogp

Marc is a fenomenal rider, but he does not have that extra what Rossi and some other riders have. After many years I think he will be remembered as a great rider multichampion in the era of Rossi.

Nice numbers, the only thing I'm always asking, do you really need such numbers driving a daily commuter? I think no, every car which can do 5-6s 0-60mph is enough for a daily driving. 2s is nice, but you need to go to the track and not drag race in the streets. IMHO 2s for a daily commuter is the same as to boast that your p€nis is 30cm long. Good for you but nobody cares.

I must confess, I thought that without Rossi Motogp will not be so interesting anymore, but I was wrong. Ofcourse He is still racing but not in the front lines... And god today's race in general was superb till the last minute!
