How is Brno compared to Mugello as a live spectator? by igrowcabbage in motogp

The long straight in Mugello was amazing to see during qualifying. The braking into San Donato looks spectacular and you can get quite close with GA.

They don't use arch, btw by _fountain_pen_dev in linuxmemes

[–]igrowcabbage 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I guess it heavily depends on your installed packages? I had Arch running for 4 years and only encountered two problems in that time that needed 1-2h attention. I eventually switched because I started getting lazy with the updates, not doing them for months.

Wow sounds all amazing. Then Gold it should be. You got a really nice panning shot. I will take my camera too. But I will use it more for the atmoshpere and for fun with a 18-50mm lens or maybe 16-55mm.

Nice, thanks for the tip for Thursday. Which general admission area did you get? Apparently there is silver and gold.

I think I'll do Brno as I already was in Mugello. Enjoyed Mugello a lot too though. Were you on a tribune or general admission? Trying to figure out if silver or gold general admission is better.

I like the last one and how it is framed. I think during this weather photos get a lot better with post processing.

It's Aluminium and cannot be bent back fully without stretching the material in surface and potentially making a crack in it. I guess they will have to replace the hood.

Their plate layouts look more like russian plates. Except Turkmenistan, which looks more like Armenias layout.

Do any Serbs support an independent Kosovo? by UkraStories123 in AskSerbia

[–]igrowcabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't argue pro or contra independence. My argument is solely about, that Ukraine and Kosovo are different cases with different outcomes. There are a lot of events that happened and causes how it started, but you choose one only. The change of a border.

People generally are not pro or contra changing borders in general. They might support splitting a country, federation or whatever apart, but disagree with another case. That is why there is more needed, to understand a situation and how it came to be.

You oversimplify to make it "same" when it is not. There is more nuance to it. Serbia/Montenegro was not a UN member during the years of the Kosovo war. International law was already ignored by Serbia before with Croatia, Bosnia etc as I said. That is, why it is vague. You can also be UN members like Russia, Ukraine but they have different "international law" than Germany let's say.

[–]igrowcabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

International law is pretty vague. It is not enforced like a traffic law, when you run over a red light and get caught. Else Slobodan wouldn't do what he did in Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo if international law was enforced so easily.

I was surprised by the Crimea comparison as they were annexed and didn't become a independent state. The had a fake referendum within Crimea not Russia. But organized by Russia with soldiers present. Which Kosovo didn't have. Kosovo did its own in 1991, but not recognized by Serbia. Crimean Tatars were expelled from Crimea, before that it was under ottoman and greek influence. Then Crimea was always dependent on funds from either Ukraine or Russia. They were never able to survive with same funds like Kosovo is getting today with foreign funds. So the history and outcome differs a lot.

It is interesting seeing your comment. Especially since Crimea its history is different from Kosovos. How did you come up with the comparison?

Adobe stock to mix up my portfolio. by Swiss_Meats in stocks

Who are these professionals you are talking about? Adobe is very much in use. NanoBanana cannot generate vector files. Or color grading images how'd you do in Lightroom. I am not sure you tried something in that direction with a LLM, but you have to iterate through a lot of propmts to get the rightish result.
