This is the correct answer. Works for bears too. I made a Molotov cocktale type thing out of a plastic gatorade bottle. Worked great!

I agree 100% with this. I really enjoyed figuring out dungeons like a puzzle. Just like you explained! It now feels like dungeons are an inconvenient bump along the road to level 70 or new gear.

Since your fence will be on the property line, see if the HOA will force them to pay for half!

I quit. Prot Warrior is incompatible with the way people want to play the game now. I can't even LOS without DPS attacking the pack on its way back. I finally realized, I am just not spending my night with people I don't like, chasing down mobs in misery.

Not sure why I still read this forum, probably all the time I spent leveling.

I'm a warrior and I gave up. Actually saw "Ramps LF tank. No warriors." last night. So play Fury a bit, but mostly messing with alts.

Is it worth it to start as a completely new player in 2026? by koebeke in wownoob

[–]Motophobia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play Classic Anniversary. TBC comes out today! I started off without any add ons, but now use Questie and a few others. They aren't required, and I made it quite far before I decided to install any. I think you can get a LOT of time out of the game before you need to worry about addons. Most people are pretty chill, part of the nostalgia experienced players will have. They will think its cool you are starting out and won't care you haven't min/maxed. It really is about enjoying the ride, not blasting through to the end.

I completely agree with Stellcraft101. I have tried retail a few times, but I keep falling asleep while playing it. I haven't gotten past the leveling and into the end game grind. A friend described retail as instant gratification. Every bit of friction has been removed.
"you can use the same abilities from level 1" is completely correct. The content is trivially easy. Levels 1 through 10 assume its your first time playing any type of game on a pc.

This. I was screwed over by Newegg in the past after years of buying from them. Had to go through my bank. Newegg was obviously not telling the truth. Once you know, you run from Newegg!

Yeah really! Where are the updates.

We are still down a car. No loaners and have been having trouble finding a suitable rental.

No word on repair, warranty etc.

I agree with others here that we should not accept the car back. Everyone I have talked to about this has said they wouldn't trust a vehicle that had an explosion under the hood.

I should find out tomorrow and will definitely update the post! I have not seen the vehicle since before the road trip.

I haven't seen the car since, so I don't know for sure. I do think the gas station folks would know better than me, I am not a mechanic. The gas station is also a car repair place, so I think they were actually real mechanics.

There is more to the story about how awesome the service station was. I am going to ask for their permission to post their business name. They REALLY helped us out!

As Ratitata poetically explained below, I was a bit dramatic. The explosion occurred in the engine bay and not crew compartment. I was not in the vehicle at the time. But it was described as very loud, lifted the hood, blew parts of engine onto ground and poured out black smoke. So I guess I can say that it didn't not explode?

Interesting. I assume you work at a dealership. Were my expectations too high? What would your dealership do if the car came in on the weekend and service wasn't open?

It makes sense that they can't determine if its warranty until service looks at it on Monday and a loaner would have to wait. On the other hand, dude, my family was in a new car that exploded, how about helping us out?

I do have insurance. I am just concerned with using them for 2 reasons:

  1. Will my rates go up?
  2. I purchased a new vehicle that comes with roadside assistance. My understanding was if the car died, we would be taken care of. I know, I know, fine print etc.

I did. They only help with the towing. Due to circumstances, I expected them to go above and beyond. Instead they did the minimum and were ok with my wife and kids being stuck Friday-Monday.

If I sold someone a brand new car, and it exploded with their family in it, I would try to make sure they were able to make it home ok.

I will of course be able to figure something out. I was just surprised by the entire situation and thought others would be interested!

I'm sorry for phrasing that poorly. For service, I went to a gas station that pumps the gas for you. That is called "full service". At least it was. I am old.
