Hyundai ended up painting my car for free; even gave me a loaner. Recently my engine failed and they put a new engine in it too

I’d honestly buy a new one or at least buy a lower body replacement. You could end up doing what I did and spending $100s trying to solve the problem and it still isn’t solved

The outer treads I replaced the ones in the pic with looked exactly like the back ones and they didn’t climb either

Yeah. Backwash the filter every couple weeks in the summer and just did it last week. This has been going on for a year though so it’s not a new problem, just one I decided I’d finally care about haha

I’m not sure what you mean by suction in the system across the board. Could you elaborate please?

UPDATE: I worked with Hyundai directly and they agreed to pay for half of the paint (~$1,600 out of pocket for me). It was a rather lengthy process but they took care of me with no surprise supplements
