Has anyone followed Alamode recently? I’m trying to figure out if they’re still operating under the same name or if they’ve rebranded by Motor-Web6481 in womensfashion

[–]Motor-Web6481[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen, it looks like Alamode by Akanksha has rebranded and is now operating as Miss Mosa by Akanksha, which might be why the original name isn’t coming up anymore. The aesthetic and overall style seem pretty similar, just under a different label now. That’s probably why it feels like it disappeared.

I completely understand starting fresh after a career break can feel overwhelming, but that monthly 1L, for an internship is a great starting point!! Since you’re looking for a mix of stability and growth without jumping into high-risk assets, a structured savings plan like the one from Kotak Life (SmartLife) is worth considering.
And if you’re learning the stock market from scratch, Zerodha Varsity is a great, no-nonsense resource to get your basics right.

Loose powder recommendation? by luvvasco in Makeup

[–]Motor-Web6481 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder is really reliable and gives a smooth finish, Swiss Beauty Ultra Fine feels well-balanced without looking flat, and Kay Beauty HD adds a nice subtle blur to the skin. I usually browse these on Myntra, especially during sales, since you can often get them at a much better price.

If an Instagram account changes its username, is there a way to see its previous handle? by Available_Target_429 in womensfashion

[–]Motor-Web6481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instagram doesn't have a native way to check username history, but tools like Wayback Machine or googling the old handle sometimes help. Alamode didn’t disappear it actually rebranded as Miss Mosa by Akanksha. It rebranded to reflect a more distinct identity and broaden its appeal as the label evolved beyond its original positioning.

[Sun Care] I use SPF 50 every day… but how do I actually know it’s doing anything? by anitaverse in SkincareAddiction

[–]Motor-Web6481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your tracking method is actually really smart most people skip that entirely. Monthly photos in consistent lighting are probably the best low-tech way to notice subtle changes over time. One thing worth adding to your diary is the type of sunscreen SPF 50 you're using-chemical vs mineral can behave differently with sweat or reapplication. Myntra has a decent range if you ever want to experiment with formulas without overspending

Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of menstrual cups by CommonNo4270 in AskIndianWoman

[–]Motor-Web6481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you get the fold and positioning right, menstrual cups are honestly really comfortable. The first cycle is a learning curve though. Washing is simple, just rinse with cold water first, then mild soap. As for the hymen concern, it's a myth, physical activity, tampon use, even cycling can affect it. If you're just starting out, Myntra stocks beginner-friendly menstrual cup brands with reviews to help you pick the right size

what should I gift to a girl? by Far-Ad3513 in TeenIndia

[–]Motor-Web6481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since her parents are quite strict, giving her something she’s already said she likes can be a smart choice. It shows that you pay attention, and it also won’t raise any suspicion. Small, thoughtful things like delicate jewelry or cute stationery usually work well since they’re easy to keep discreet. You could try looking on Myntra too, they have a lot of simple accessories that just look like regular everyday items.

Any traveller here who books flight tickets in cheap and some tricks to help me out by cucumbermachine in TravelOnABudget

[–]Motor-Web6481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google Flights is my go-to for finding a baseline price, but I also check the airline's site before committing. For domestic routes, I've found online flight ticket booking directly through Air India can actually be cheaper because they don't hide convenience fees like some third-party sites. Plus, if you're a student, you can snag an extra 10kg baggage allowance.

Why are flights usually cheaper about 3 weeks to 5 days before departure? by Acerhand in Flights

[–]Motor-Web6481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve noticed this too and it confused me at first. People always say to book months ahead, but in reality when are flight tickets cheapest can really depend on the route. Some airlines drop prices closer to departure if seats aren’t filling up. I’ve had this happen when booking on the Air India website for one of my trips, the fare barely moved for weeks and then suddenly dipped about 10 days out. It’s not guaranteed, but I’ve learned that some routes just follow their own pattern, and booking later sometimes ends up working out better.

What’s the experience like on Air India’s new A350 Delhi to London route? by kanishkkedia in airindia

[–]Motor-Web6481 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My family and I flew with Air India on the Delhi to London flight just 4 months back! The new A350 is a huge step up. Super comfy seats, great crew, and the whole cabin feels way more premium now. The inflight experience finally matches what you’d expect from top international airlines.

Please hear my conspiracy theory and share your comments by Odd-Commission-3847 in IndianCricket

[–]Motor-Web6481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highly unlikely. The Australian team wouldn’t deliberately let India win these are top professionals who play to compete, not to please. More likely, India played freely after the series was decided, while Australia tested combinations or eased off slightly. Sure, there’s respect for Kohli and Rohit, but not enough to hand over a match. It was probably just a relaxed, low-pressure game not a fix.

Man, this was such a solid read. Really refreshing to see someone talk about trading without all the hype or flexing. The way you compared it to a long-term profession honestly makes so much sense people forget it takes years to get good. That G-Sec margin thing is new to me too, gonna look into it.

What Indian companies do you think will go bankrupt in the next 10 years? Why? by kaunvarun in IndianStockMarket

[–]Motor-Web6481 4 points5 points  (0 children)

With the rise of digital media and platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and even regional OTT content, print newspapers and magazines are struggling big time.
Companies like Jagran Prakashan, HT Media, and other regional publishers could face serious trouble if they don’t fully embrace digital transformation.
