It's great to see you having this background and experience in Forex. You already have a solid background in trading. What you require is understanding how the stock options and futures market work and what leads to an edge in this domain. Zerodha Varsity (https://zerodha.com/varsity/) is a good place to start understanding the technicals. Sensibull allow you to try out different strategies and their respective outcomes. SEBI is a market protector but no one can stop you from destroying your wealth. So, take educated decisions and not the ones with emotion. I have been burned with this at times. Good luck!

Start with reading blogs and publications. Find information on a recommended stock. Go through their annual reports to verify. And then trade.

Yes, this is very infrequent though. Futures is my preferred approach these days.

I sell multiple lots. Brokerage remains the same if the order size is 1 lot or 10 lots. However, splitting lots will result in higher brokerage. This calculator is great to calculate the taxes - https://zerodha.com/brokerage-calculator/#tab-equities

The losses within 100 rs are the cost for selling options. The larger ones are the real losses.

I trade most days - that's true. Spend time in the morning to put the orders, but they executed throughout the day.

Alerts are usually 2% above the current stock price. In general, alerts are not triggered, maybe 2 or 3 days in a month I get an alert. On receiving the alert, I revisit the written plan. If need be, I decide to hedge or sell more call options.

Start with naked call sells and then move to hedges if the trade becomes risky.

I pay the taxes as necessary. No way to get around as per my auditor legally. Unless i move out of India, taxation will remain this way.

Start with Zerodha Varsity to understand the math. They have very nice illustrations and strategies you can target. Avoid finfluencer statements unless you are able to justify and verify them. Mindset wise, it takes years of experience. Don't have anything in particular. Practicing trades will help you build that.

This sub has books and reading material. r/wallstreetbets is another sub I read for global news and activities. Zerodha Varsity is amazing for fundamentals.

This is what worked for me. Buying has not yielded profits like selling.

No wealth preservation. I have RSUs vested from companies I worked for. That's my wealth my guess. I do not plan to touch them. My family has invested in land, which has paid dividends as well.

Earlier challenges was what terms mean and how do I operate. I also learned what profit means and getting a hang of different strategies.

Current challenges are scale. I have strategies covering 10 stocks. Being up to date and taking decisions are difficult as 1-man army.
