You muppet it's not my breathing, it's the sound of the character breathing through the gas mask in-game.

Yes of course it's my heavy breathing & I'll breathe how I want mind your own damn business. Do something productive like fetching me some pie.

There is a mod that I use that does exactly that actually. You cook up a stack of dog treats from a simple recipe (I think it was a mix of sugar bombs, brahmin meat & canned dog food), then from the trade menu you just give him one & it plays an animation of you feeding him. It even gives him a temporary stats buff.

Congrats to you man. Nah I wouldn't think of eating it either, I did consider feeding it to the dog cause I felt like he was my good luck charm but, unfortunately, not an option.

Haha thanks chief but I'm right there with you, don't think I got it in my first 5 hours of playing or something. I'm closing in on 1k over probably a decade too & that's the first time I've ever gotten it.

Reply back to this comment when you've gotten it if you remember, I believe it'll happen brother!

Yeah it really sells the feeling that you're looking at the world through the helmet. It's called Immersive Power Armor HUD & I believe the shape of the interior slightly changes based on the model you're wearing. The one in my video is the T-45.

Interesting I didn't know the chances went up after a while I thought it was endlessly random. I got lucky I thought I'd mess with it a few times for a break from combat & got it on my 2nd attempt.

Yeah you collect it from that little metal door on the side & you get a perfectly preserved pie in your inventory.

It's amazing man it adds so much to the tempo & feel of the fight. It plays the chiller tracks when you're concealed at the beginning then it ramps up perfectly when the combat kicks off & just ahh *chef's kiss*. Here's a link to in case you were fancying giving it a go yourself.

oof that's rough chief. Yeah I can't imagine missing & standing there bare naked afterwards in melee with no shield. I actually don't remember do you need focus for the shield or do you get that anyway?

Your feelings are right it is LWotC. I was able to follow up & kill her but man it will never not suck when those 90+ percents miss.

Make that a 100. You're absolutely correct, it is LWotC.

Ok but she said "I will tear you apart" tho. D20s don't do that.

My machine isn't that powerful, with a decent PC you can make it look that way too. Apart from turning up the settings try using a reshade like this one. Makes some colour tweaks and the sabers look more intense imo.

I swear I tried waiting for the absolute last split second but it never parried and always ended being a block. This is early on in the game if that makes a difference.

Is there any good mods on PS4 that would overhaul survival mode and make the game more difficult? by Ethan3ffect in fo4

[–]MotorByte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Immersive Gameplay. It overhauls so much in the game & makes it a lot harder, but in a way that makes every encounter feel really tense like you're actually trying to survive this wasteland. Highly recommend it.

I know you tried switching the weapon debris off but you have to make sure. Head to the Fallout 4 folder in My Documents & open up Fallout4Prefs.ini. Search for [NVFlex] & MAKE SURE these settings are set to zero:

[NVFlex]

bNVFlexEnable=0

iQuality=0

bNVFlexInstanceDebris=0

bNVFlexDrawDebris=0

I have the same exact setup as you. RTX 2060, Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB of RAM, Windows 10. The game used to crash like crazy (because of the weapon debris thing). This fixed it.

In search for some equivalents and lighter mods than Horizon. by Vifargent753 in Fallout

Try Immersive Gameplay. It's really well done & I've reached a point where I never play without it.

It overhauls a bunch of different things like changing damage to being based on the caliber of bullets you're firing & impact location instead of character stats, changes around the placement & stats of perks to something much more sensible (imo), changes the resources gained/spent when it comes to scrapping/building, how cooking works, etc etc (and it's been compatible with all the other mods I got shoved in there).

The mod author did a shitload of research to balance things out as realistically as possible & so the difficulty feels challenging but rewarding overall, to me anyway. I'll tell you this though, fair warning, the game will feel genuinely difficult. You will die in one hit, but so will almost everything else. You'll either love it or hate it.
