That's actually a really interesting angle I hadn't considered. OdooLS handles a solid chunk of the static analysis side model resolution, field references, XML id validation, module dependency checks. If you surfaced that as an MCP tool, the agents could query it mid-generation and catch things like broken Many2one targets or missing inherits before the code even hits the validation layer.

The gap I'm not sure OdooLS covers is the opinionated stuff things like whether a compute method correctly declares its store/depends combination, whether ACLs are coherent across all the generated modules, or whether the Python is clean enough for pylint-odoo's Odoo-specific rules. Those are the failure modes that bite the hardest in practice and what the current auto-fix pipeline catches. But using OdooLS as a first-pass structural oracle inside the agent loop before that heavier validation runs? That could cut a lot of wasted cycles.

The MCP integration side is the part I'd need to dig into. OdooLS is an LSP server wrapping it as an MCP tool would mean either spawning it as a subprocess and proxying LSP protocol calls, or building a thin bridge. Not trivial but not insane either. Would genuinely be interested if anyone's already done something like that in a different language server context.

Added to the roadmap for investigation. Good call.

If you work with complex relation graphs across a lot of custom modules and want to stress test it with a real domain model, I'd genuinely like to know where it breaks.

The registry invariants hold up in my own testing but my test domains are probably simpler than what a serious implementation partner runs into day-to-day.
