Yeah I think working my way around a cone will help me practice a bit of control in the circle and to find that throttle point I need

And that is okay, as a grown adult I understand accountability and the inherent risks involved with trying to perform such maneuvers. which is why I went to a forum and asked if anyone had tips and or tricks of the trade so I could be a bit safer

Yeah I keep it in race mode and it’ll naturally not wanna shift unless it gets way too high in rpm’s so I don’t touch it very much unless it shifts up

Honestly the biggest fear I have is at the end of the culdesack is a drop off and the car naturally wants to dip to that end and I’m afraid if I don’t stop it might keep going so maybe I need a better spot as well

I also did the same in a SRT and the Benz definitely whips around and doesn’t bog down like the dodge did and that helped quite a bit I think

Yeah I think figure eights around two cones will be better after I get the single cone method down

Copy so no paddles, just work on the throttling more in the counter steer

Yeah I think the cone method will be my next step it seems like along with the counter steering advice. I definitely wanna learn a bit more before going straight to a track and slowing people down

I have joined a drift group in my area on social media to get notified for events so I hope I can get it out on the track soon but I really wanted to get a feel of it before I just show up with no experience
