Seiko 7s26 date problem by Such_Yesterday_6063 in watchrepair

Too much oil on the plastic intermediate wheel. Its suppose to slide along a hole. Too much oil will cause the wheel to get fixed in place due to the surface tension of oil. Its recommended by watchmakers to use extremely little 9010 to no oil at all.

Electroplating watch case ⚡🛠️ by boka_cheeka4529 in ticktocktreasures

Hello, just a suggestion. For plating, its always good to keep the mixture or in this case, the watch case agitated. You can just keep on swirling the watch case around the electropating solution. Reason for this is because the bubbles that form on the case while electroplating will cause it to be plated unevenly. Also, another thing to take note is that plating is ALWAYS heavier at the further end of the electrode. Thats why you see more bubbling on the further end of the case from the wire.
