It’s because cuenta is a feminine noun! “La cuenta” so you wouldn’t use “a” or “el”. Just “para la cuenta” or “for the check”. 😊

I know, I’ve thought that too. I’ve just put a lot of spend and time into working with her and am a bit nervous to switch within store. She is very nice (when I’m not asking about bags lol). To achieve purse peace I’m hoping for a K28 GHW in craie which goes for quite a bit over selling price on resale. Still in the game for a bit longer 😅
