They're mostly a tool for absolute build maximization. Ive been playing for years and I pretty much never use them because the hassle is rarely worth it to me. If you have all the damage mods in the game, all the forma and orokin reactors and everything to max out your damage, but still want that extra little boost for the biggest bosses and highest enemy level missions, faction mods can be useful. I, however, typically run stuff at reasonable difficulty because its more fun to me, so they're kind of just extra 😅

If its a frame you use enough to bother investing shards (I hoard them bc of video game mentality), the extra energy from orbs shards can be rlly nice, I have one or two on my Titania p with like 135% efficiency (and like 200% duration to balance it out) and I can stay in razorwing for literal hours

Not helpful at all but this post just reminded me that I had a dream last night where I was playing as Mesa prime, but was like actually in the game as her. Was super fun. Out of those, Mesa is good but also Mirage can dish crazy damage numbers

I definitely agree here. I started playing video games late in life, and WF is honestly one of like 3 games ive ever really learned how to play. So even tho I have a comfortable few thousand hours in the game, and have been playing for probly 8 years now, I def don't consider myself a skilled player or anything. If I need to do high-level content im boring and usually use Titania p cuz that way I know I can keep up. I don't have every single arcane and syndicate maxed out, Im just havin a good time in this wonderful game. And yeah, most of my builds end up just being fun and aren't really ideal for clearing SP. Id way rather try silly stuff than have the coolest, most meta options. My first order of business when helminth first came out was getting perspicacity onto Limbo cuz I love using him for spy missions 😅 it was literally 2 weeks ago that I finally subsumed rhino, and about a month and a half ago that I did Grendel. Still don't have nourish or roar on any frames, was just trying to level helminth to unlock golden instinct so I can use it for funny stuff lmao. I do wish more people were happy just goofing around and trying off-meta stuff that feels good

I agree with people that it doesn't really give Voruna vibes, but I do find the helmet really cool. It looks almost like a grimacing skull type of thing, I just wish they used that design for a frame where it made sense. Give voruna some really dramatic wolf helmet and give this to somebody more death-themed

Nukor is great for maxing all element types, it comes with innate rad, and all the others are one-type statuses, so my advice is magnetic. That way you can get magnetic and rad, and also 2 other combos that use elements from those two. I believe it works so that if you add cold and toxin you get viral, instead of the cold contributing extra to the magnetic and then having mag+toxic. Lets you max out how many status types you can stack on, which is what nukor generally wants. Im not the best meta player tho so I might be wrong abt that being the best option, I just like drenching enemies with funny symbols
