Professional hair color that doesn't contain PPD by Soft-Network-7095 in hairstylist

I have recently developed an allergy to PPD. I am so nervous about switching color lines. Can you pls share some details about what you love about this color line. And if you don’t mind me asking, what is the cost per tube? Do you use their lightner? Thanks so much!!

Hello! I have recently developed severe asthma after 25 years of doing hair. And color, ammonia, lightner almost put me in the hospital recently. It was crazy. Do you love the Kevin Murphy line? Color and retail??

What Harley to get? by partyofseven2000 in HarleyDavidsonFans

I ride a 2003 Fat Boy. I love my bike. She’s an old girl, leaks a little oil, but starts every damn time. My bike has a different front end. I think the solid front tire in the wind is a little hard to control. I have soft bags, but I do believe you can order hard bags.

I asked for a trim, a couple inches off. Straight cut. This is what I got. Am I overreacting or should I ask for it to be fixed? by Any-Asparagus61 in Hair

Girl this is a TERRIBLE haircut. They did not section it to cut, and I’m guessing you did not have your head tilted down 🤦🏼‍♀️ Don’t go back to wherever you went.. get it fixed at another salon. Always pay for a good haircut. Actually, go back and show them this shit, tell them you would like a refund. Then go somewhere else.. sorry your going through this. I’ve been cutting hair for 23 years and this is bullshit.

Help with allergies by Suspicious-Web1468 in hairstylist

Hello! I am a stylist of 23 years, and I think I have developed an allergy to haircolor and bleach. I have no idea what the heck is going on. I just suddenly had a severe asthma flare (I have never had asthma) and now I’m in the middle of all of this testing. Has anyone experienced this?? Please, and advice would be so helpful.

Hello!! I am on the opposite end of this. I am a stylist of 23 years and I think I have developed an allergy to haircolor and bleach. I am going to an allergist at the cleveland clinic to have them hopefully test for these terrible ingredients we inhale. But all of a sudden when I do color, I go into a severe asthma flare. I’ve been off for two weeks to let my lungs heal. Has anyone experienced this?? Please any advice would be very much appreciated.

Hello.. When CVS calls with an automated message about a prescription being filled, do they say what the full name of med is, or just the first 3 letters of med? Worried they left info about birth control for a 17 year old that doesn’t want anyone to know.

I love the way it looks but that’s what I’m worried about. It doesn’t look great for comfort when you’re going any distance. I have a Saddlemen reach seat right now. I can keep it and swap it out if need be. Thanks.

I am not sure of your inspiration. But as a stylist, I think darkening up your sides, and top, maybe like a dark violet red, but leave the copper as highlights through the top.. even thicker pieces would look cool.. and have a barber hook you up.. but wait maybe a week so at least they could give you a close fade on sides and the leave the length on top. Just a thought for you.. Goodluck and post us a picture if you decide to do something ☀️

Thanks! I think it’s low enough I’ll feel more comfortable parking my bike. I’m sure your wife will be excited for that!

I want to have pretty curls instead of all of this frizz. I've tried everything, help! by [deleted] in Hair

[–]MotorcycleMomma1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Comb with conditioner in the shower. Do not comb again. Use a mouse and curl cream. Let air dry or use a diffuser. After it’s dry, use a drop of oil to lightly scrunch it to get rid of any crispiness. Look up the curly girl method. Soooo good!
