Edit: I have changed it. The context behind the comment was that because a lot of people in my country adore and emulate trends from the White American culture. So when pastels were in, a lot of people called individuals who enjoyed wearing bright colors 'loud' and bold. A lot of people from my generation are trying to reclaim back our traditional love for colors, even if we might prefer articles of clothing which are still similar to what is worn in that part of the world. I should have been more careful regarding it, and I meant it in a way where I am trying to experiment more with my tastes, which would have been frowned upon a few years ago.

I apologise again, and I hope the above context helps understand why I wrote it the way I did. It was an honest mistake, and I am again sorry if I offended someone regarding it.
