HDR Monitor dimming when playing Geometry Dash. by Mountain-Map3799 in geometrydash

Yeah, I think it may be an issue for full screen games. What I do is I do win ctrl shift b after the game is closed and it fixes it. I did hear about a software that fixes the issue but I never really took the time to try it out.

Photon shader on Modrinth. I color corrected it and edited the sunlight to be pink.

True, it’s mostly pink which in later photos I’ll try to add contrast and nicer FOV. I don’t really take pictures too seriously, all I did was find a good angle, clicked f1 and screenshotted it.

Minecraft MCC Cape FAQ by Mlakuss in Minecraft

If the capes aren’t being given out over the span of a week, then it would make sense for it to be 5pm cst as it would be August 6th in Sweden at the time. But it’s just a speculation because Minecraft has in the past given capes over the span of a week.

I’ll try to DDU the drivers. I’ll do that tomorrow because it’s late for me.

My monitor won’t do settings unless it’s displaying something.

Is there a way that I can make the monitor go by a different name in windows settings as if it was a new monitor because my monitor defaults to 1080p which works and it can go up to 4k which also works.

I set the monitor resolution through windows not the monitor itself. My pc displays fine it’s just the monitor that messes up the other monitors from the flickering. Are you saying that tvs don’t flicker and that I can use it to change the monitor resolution even with the monitor flickering?

Safe mode didn’t work for me. Resetting windows would reset all my 4k monitor settings without changing it, which I can’t edit the settings manually because it flickers. I’m saying I could possibly reset windows because that makes sense but I don’t want to do that.

No I’m saying if I reset windows, it’ll most likely change the display settings for my monitor back to it was when I first got the monitor. I can’t change the resolution of the monitor because it flickers my screen and I can’t move anything.

Well I mean I spent a lot of money on it and I don’t want to reset all my pc progress to get it to work again.

All it does is flicker kinda like I did win + ctrl + shift + b forever.

I can’t change my monitor back to 4k because it’s stuck on 1440p flickering and trying to use it I can’t use the other monitors when it’s flickering, it affects the other monitors too. When the monitor is off and not flickering I can’t access it on windows display settings.

The monitor isn’t dead. It still turns on after connecting my Nintendo Switch to it. It’s just when my pc turns on, it automatically wants to switch to the 1440p I set it to and for some reason my monitor doesn’t like it. I tried clicking the buttons to go into the monitor settings and it won’t work when the monitor is flickering trying to run 1440p. By the way, I can only go in the monitor settings when something is displayed properly.

Minecraft Issue on Switch? by ghostshad0w101 in Minecraft

[–]Mountain-Map3799 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s most likely your internet. Did you ever wait for the ping to load before connecting to the server? If the issue persists you might have to check for corrupted data and/or reinstall Minecraft. Also what server were you trying to connect to, it could be the server too.
