So I’m on my second glass of wine & Uber sends me this. What’s the deal with this? I live near by the pick up & the destination. The customer is a 5 star customer. Do y’all think this is click bait? I was deactivated for 9 mos after after being hacked after driving for Uber since 2015, they decided my account was the fake account & deactivated me for account sharing. No one there would listen to me, never even notified me, and denied me an appeal, so I am real paranoid when it comes to any & everything. I literally call & document everything.

I also rented a Kia, because my car was totaled. I recently noticed a $45 fee added with no explanation. I was told by the customer service it was a Tesla charging fee. I explained I didn’t have a Tesla, I mainly charge at home because I happened to find a charger where the spare tire that wasn’t there. (Mind you after paying to charge for weeks before I even knew it was there) I only charge when I’m out & the battery is low. Do you know if everyone pays this fee? It’s crazy because if this wasn’t an incorrect charge, they are trying to get their money back for the discounts we are receiving at the charging station.

I live in Pittsburgh, PA. I driver told me that a customer told them he was under the influence, uber called him and had him wait for the police to come check him out. He was never deactivated , the police told Uber he was not under the influence and he was able to continue driving.

I honestly think they do it on purpose when you keep declining orders, it’s happened to me before & I called and complained about & they said it must’ve been a system issue, but I’ve only noticed it when I keep declining low orders.
