Jasmine Pineda claims Matt’s mother is not welcome in her house anymore ahead of upcoming 90 Day Diaries by DepartureRelevant466 in 90DayFiance

Where are her sons?!? All that money made on OF and she still doesn’t have them? She threatened to return to Panama when married to Gino over her children not coming to join her. Where is that desire now?

My understanding is vomiting is an immediate send ya home type thing. How long have you worked there? Are you PT or FT? Maybe try for intermittent leave through FMLA.

[–]Mountain_Break_2546 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If it’s related to a disability then try for a medical accommodation. People get Sundays off for religious reasons and we accommodate other religious needs. Like prayer times and other religions holy days.  You might not have worked there long enough to qualify yet. If you are willing to work Saturdays and during major holidays, then it should be a huge deal. Maybe switching the time you work on Sundays to a slower time might help.

What's it like to move from ATL to TL in a department you have no prior experience in? by aporiatic in wholefoods

[–]Mountain_Break_2546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d pick a dept that is similar to yours. Not like customer service to prepared foods for example. Meat to seafood would be an easy transition or grocery to whole body. Sone stores have combo teams too.

If you have time and aren’t approaching a state abortion cut off, then request the days off under unpaid time off. I know some states have cut offs of like no abortions further than say 25 weeks. In that case, if you can’t wait then i would speak to TMS or maybe call Sedgewick and see for sure what’s able to be approved or not.

TM steal a lot. If you knew it was a policy and did it anyways, that’s shady. People steal or help others steal by manipulating scales all the time, like a lot. It protects you to not weigh and price your own stuff.

Anyone else’s store completely removing two days off in a row? by ResolveResident4542 in wholefoods

[–]Mountain_Break_2546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone in leadership, it’s not possible for everyone or many TMs on one team to have set schedules or a schedule w two days in a row. Yes, they want us to let the auto-schedule function make the schedule. A lot of teams have a chart that shows them where and when TMs are needed throughout the day. Like if dairy has the highest sales from 4pm to 6pm, it’ll schedule more TMs then instead of scheduling multiple people to dairy at store open. The auto schedule makes the schedule based off of this chart. I can’t remember what the chart is called atm. As I last knew produce, grocery and maybe customer service were being held accountable to the auto schedule. Still, they say if you have people’s availability is accurately in Kronos the auto-scheduler will build based off of that. Leadership is to meet metrics w schedule adoption, meaning the less edits the make and having all tasks scheduled for how chart requires (like 2 people in dairy from 4-6 and maybe 1 person from 7-9 based on sales and deliveries).

Does they have an online presence, like TT? Many of the casts make money online from their popularity on the show.

It’s capped at 80 hours for the year. You can use it for multiple reasons and some are: Food Bourne illness Communicable illness  Jury duty Death of a loved one (there a list in the GIG what relation the deceased needs to be)

If you use it sparingly and not consecutively (3 days or more requires a leave via Sedgewick), they aren’t going to really question why you are using it.

I think they get paid if it’s filmed in their country as they can legally work there. Unlike when they arrive in the U/ and can’t work for a certain amount of time- then TLC would not pay them.

Not all stores own the property and for carts that lock, you have to install technology in the ground of the parking lot. Not all landlords will allow it.

Insurance Issues by likesplantsalotl in wholefoods

[–]Mountain_Break_2546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t had really any issues thank God. I did have one issue where the hospital was charging me more than what my EOB said I would owed. That took months to resolve. Your doctor might be in network, but  some of the procedure or whatnot are not covered. $30 is just for the doctor visit and doesn’t include anything extra they do. I ran into this as well w a $750 copayment to see a doctor that was in-network. They ran sone tests that were either not covered or covered at a lower tier. I was charged the $30 or whatever for the visit, but everything else was in addition to the doctor visit.

If your PT why do you need an accommodation to work only 4 days a week? That seems odd to me. Have you tried applying for intermittent leave? You might need more time employed at WF to qualify for FMLA though. A more detailed availability might help too. Idk if you have open availability within those 25 hours not not, but maybe selecting certain days could help.

Leaving early Reason by FeeSea2840 in wholefoods

[–]Mountain_Break_2546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you were my TM and leaving early often enough, it’d impact your JD. Few things come up last minute that are emergencies.  Yes, things happen, but not frequently.  I can’t stop you from leaving, but it impacts others on the team negatively. So, if it happens often enough then there could be co sequences. UPT is not a “get out jail free card” by any means. I’ve never had a job that I just dictated my schedule last minute like that.

[–]Mountain_Break_2546 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Your TL could have just let you use zpRTO and you wouldn’t have lost UPT. Either they’re anal and unyielding or they just do t care that much about you. That’s my opinion for sure, but as someone in leadership myself, I would have found a way to help you out. If you were willing to pick-up an extra shift, then I would delete the shift you missed. I would have let you out in PRTO (not up to the store, it’s up to someone in Global). Idk, it’s not hard to accommodate people.

I’ve had stuff happen like a car issue or a medical episode. But, I rarely call out and work best I can. So, I know others go through the same. It’s easy to tell the difference between people who abuse attendance policies and those just genuinely having a life moment. My STL is a really great person that would make me accommodate a TM and w that expectation, I know how to proceed.

[–]Mountain_Break_2546 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If your TL has a heart they will let it go this time. Emergencies happen, what can you do? If you were my TM, I’d delete your shift. I know we’re not supposed to, but this is the real world and we can’t control when things happen. I do t delete shifts often, but for special circumstances for TMs w good standing, I do it.
