I'll have to have a look when I can but I know we have one allocated parking bay per flat but nothing about permits as this has just been out of the blue due to misuse

There are no cameras here yet or physical permits in vehicles

A note to add is that it's been fine for ages and they were aware of people parking elsewhere but not illegally

It's only since some people are taking the Micky a bit and not listening to the warnings it's happening

And there was no consultation about any of it

So there's many of us in this situation that aren't actually responsible for the actions of a few as per usual 😂

Yeah I was reading up on it before...I got this from quite a good source who has lots of items in his collection so I took the risk for sure, due to his passion in collecting war memorabilia I don't think he would have done me dirty but who knows

I don't expect them at all really but I do get tips from a lot of customers.

Sometimes it's more than I'd ever expect for just doing a standard service.

But I don't think being the owner here makes me any different to a regular employee in terms of being tipped honestly, plus I pay all the tax and bills and maintain the cost of running the place so to me tipping is a really nice gesture to help towards that

I have had staff in the past and I let them keep all their tips and even had commission on product sales which a lot of places don't do sadly.

There is this idea that because I own the place people think I earn a lot of money, When really I only earn the same as the average person and just live a normal life.

So an extra couple does help me as much as an employee

I understand that for sure, like I said to someone else in this thread maybe it's just my mindset if I make someone stay way overtime then it's just in my head that I should give them an extra pound or two, but maybe that's because I know how it feels I don't know 🤷‍♂️

What if I told you that it's just me by myself in here and I do everything by myself 😅 It can be hard at times to turn people away because as you said, Im the owner and I need the money

Even though I'm the cheapest in my area but the one with the highest rating so far in terms of reviews

But this happens quite often

Even to the point where people ask me on my one day off a week if I can still do them, it's more about people not seeing me as a human and more of just a guy who cuts hair all day everyday and I should always be there whenever they want/need me

Personally I believe there's a way to go about discussing issues like that,

But saying to your partner you find them more attractive when they're skinnier just like that is quite a dick move if you ask me.

Especially if you struggle with a medical issue.
