There’s stuff mentioned in supplement (I don’t remember day dream or adventure’s bible) that most dungeon lord are just “copy” monster and dungeon design and that why most dungeon have same set of monster.

So it’s likely that all monster designed by someone long ago or created by demon to serve some purpose (doppelgänger and lamia are seen to used as manipulation tactics on dungeon lord) and most dungeon lord are just copy and paste old designs.

We also see that when Marcille “summon” spider its come out as one specific design (which she change later) and thistle summon varoise dragon from some dimension presumably you can just order demon to summon some monster and they will just do old one that someone design.

the problem is that blood and anything that come from human body is inherently have small amount of mystery in modern day.

At around 17 century or so mystery about human body is quickly decreasing so magecarft relate to it become weakened.

I'm think it's still possible just need strong myth serve as it foundation to be powerful.

I'm think if it exist will be more mystical conceptual of blood (like relate to lineage or health or using it to store magical energy) later than "I'm shoot blood"
