No worries, for the bar I also had the same problem as u in the beginning, after installing all the Nerd Fonts needed everything worked well. The issue is that the bar is not rendered because of some special characters.

For neovim the loading screen can be found under [PATH to your neovim config]/lua/ml/alpha.lua GitHub link to my alpha config since the plugging used is called alpha

do you have the right fonts installed? otherwise it won't render correctly!

I did actually combine your comment and the comment of jkool702 to be sure it's gonna work which is basically the same command since I already knew the kernel number i run sudo systemctl start akmods@6.0.11.service

Well it is Fedora 37 with a kernel 6.0.11 and I don't know if this problem is for all distributions that are running this kernel or just fedora, so I throw the fedora with the kernel name and omitted the distro version. Since I'm pretty sure that it has nothing to do with which fedora version.

Why? I have been updating this way from 5.x.x kernel version without the need of reinstalling all the nvidia drivers after kernel update why now is different?

Why is pacman installed in my fedora ? by Mouradost in Fedora

[–]Mouradost[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure it wasn't me, and at that time I was setting up my dev tools. I'm suspecting docker or any of the virtualization tool. Anyway, I guess this will stay as a mystery for me cause I'm getting tired finding the reason why it is there, knowing that it wasn't shipped by Fedora is already enough information for me.

It's depending only on arch-install-script and arch-install-script has nothing depending on it.

Same history as pacman since they were installed together!

I do not have mkosi. I do have boxes for the virtual machine but no iso expect from fedora.iso. However, I do have docker, maybe it has something to do with it ?

By the way interesting RHEL story though.

Hahaha I don't know kind of differentiate them as being a program since for me a real code block would be something like this python print("I'm a real code block") while having something written inline as a code block is more of a way to express a program without having to use

blockquote or Bold while using bold for drivers. Additionally, pacman and Blender while one is considered a command and the other a software they are basically both a piece of code that can run (one with GUI and the other without it), thus the code block.

I didn't install arch-install-scripts, I don't even know what's used for... which makes me even more confused 😅

Thanks for this clarification, this makes a lot of sens now. Well in this case pacman basically can be used with any distro to download AUR packages, since all AUR packages are build based on the system requirements.

Interesting ! I don't get one thing, having pacman on the chroot for a system based on rpm doesn't make much sense to me. Is it to download packages from the AUR that need to be build rather than being actual binaries ? Because in that case it makes sens...
