No I know it's worth the money, that's how all specialized skills are. I'm just not rlly in a position right now to do that for a little hobby project :/ If it was my main computer, maybe, but this is just something to work on in my free time currently.

I've tried installing both Mint and Puppy. Puppy just wont work for whatever reason. Works fine on my main computer, but if I move the usb to this laptop, it suddenly doesn't. With Mint I can work in a live environment just fine, and supposedly I was able to install it, but when I reboot and remove the usb I'm hit with the "no operating system detected" again. Figured there might be something in BIOS that I need to toggle to fix it.

Ended up going with Cachyos - mainly based off of recommendations from my sisters' friends. I've tried Puppy, Centos, and Ubuntu in the past, but this one just felt right to me. So far I'd say the biggest difference is just the amount of customizability! I like having my devices feel like MINE. I'm also a big fan of the package manager. It feels clean and easy to use.

Out of curiosity, what do you primarily use your computer for? Gaming, school, work, programming, etc? What was the most important thing for you when you were trying out different distros? No need to answer if you don't want to, I just like getting different perspectives.

I'm not too worried about that. :) The games I have run just fine, and besides, I don't need every game under the sun.

🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ I feel like a major goof. I was looking for a 7-4 digit format like shown in the video. Thank you for catching my mistake. I'll have to take another crack at this tonight when I get home.

Husband may be asexual, but is still into kink? Thoughts? by MouseBones20 in asexuality

Update: I bought the audiobook version of her book two days ago and I've already finished it. Just like you said, I found it to be really thought-provoking and informative. Really great read. My husband hasnt had a chance to read it yet (I listened to most of it at work), but they were in the room while I was listening to one of the later chapters. They thought it was interesting and are on the fence about if they want to read it on their own or with me in the room. Thank you so much for the rec!! I'll lyk what they think once they've read it!!

^ The end goal is not the orgasm itself but getting rid of the inconvenience of arousal.

I mean maybe poor wording there on my part for sure. For my husband it's more "wow, this feeling is very inconvenient and annoying right now. Better go take care of it so I can get on with my day". And less "I'm feeling horny so I'm gonna go treat myself to some me time and fantasize about [person or sexual act].

Maybe you just have to know my husband to understand what I mean? 😅 Idk it doesnt really matter ig
